COMING CLEAN

"HON, I'm sorry but I need to go."

"It's alright, hon. I understand," Tilly said to her husband. "I'll stay here with the kids until Neoma and Mona both wake up. I can't leave this hospital until the two of them are awake."

The two of them were able to step out of the room because many people were already gathered inside Neoma's room.

"It wasn't your fault, Tilly."

She smiled sadly at her husband. "I know, hon. But even so, I'll feel bad if I leave without making sure that Mona and Neoma are both fine."

"I understand, honey."

"Thank you for making sure that the entire hospital is safe," she said, and then she remembered to ask her husband the thing that she was worried about since earlier. "Honey, how's Lucina? They kind of beat and tied her up when she tried to save me and Mona. Is she alright?"
