FILTHY BLOOD

"YOU RETURNED earlier than I expected, Your Majesty."

Aku smiled at what Nia said as soon as he sat down on the chair across from her.

Right now, he was in the penthouse suite where Nia was currently checked in. It wasn't the same hotel that Aku and his entourage had booked.

[But our hotels are near each other.]

"Everyone kicked me out," Aku complained lightly, sipping the tea that was served by the servant that Nia brought with her. The servants already left, so only the two of them were having tea in the lounge area of the penthouse. "They even scolded me."

"And rightfully so, Your Majesty. I'm sure Sir Sherwood had a hard time keeping an eye on you," Nia said, and then she paused for a moment while watching Aku drink his tea. "You're too trusting, Your Majesty. What would you do if I actually put poison in your tea? How could you drink something that the enemy offered?"

"But you're not an enemy, are you?"
