What happens when myth meets reality?

On the night of his father's grand Hotel opening, Aiden had gone out to the sea with his friends to escape the noisy crowd in the hotel that disturbed his peace.
Out on the sea and out of boredom, he had decided to try out something he had never done all his life: fishing.
In the middle of the night... along the offshore zone of the sea, the fishing net was casted into the sea. When something tugged at the net, his friends quickly pulled it up and into the boat before it could escape back into the ocean
With a sense of achievement, they looked at the net to see what they had caught and to their suprise...

Aiden walked up to kai who laid motionless on the cold floor after being pulled out of his tank by his tail. His wet golden coloured hair sprawled and stuck to his pale white skin as the water droplets trickled down to the ground.
Aided squatted in front of him and gently pushed back the loose strands of wet hair that shielded his face. Holding onto kai's chin, he tilted his head up so he could look back at him. Upon seeing the hateful gaze of the young merman directed at him, a sly grin appeared on his face
"Let me go." Kai said through gritted teeth causing Aidens smile to broaden. Caressing his cheeks softly, he leaned closer to the dripping man and whispered softly into his ears in a deep dulcet voice 
"No-"

Kais stomach churned, causing him to stir in his sleep from the discomfort he felt. Feeling the content in his stomach rise up to his throat, Kai shot his eye open and ran to the bathroom, throwing up the liquid he had drunk.

When he was done, he sat on the tiled floor after flushing the toilet, his fingers massaging his temples as he still felt his head spin.

Looking down at his attire, he was no longer in the suit Donovan have him and was now wearing a oversized grey shirt... It smelt new.

"Feel better?"Came a voice from the door, causing the boy to snap his gaze in that direction. Not that he could see anything as both the toilet and room had no light turned on, where the only source of light was the one that peeked in through the window.

The silhouette figure leaned against the door frame, his leg crossed over the other and arms folded, staring at the boy curled up on the floor next to the WC.

"Donovan?" Called the boy, unsure of who it was.
