Until Rod entered the castle, that sentence still echoed in his mind.
The interior of the hall was very spacious, seemingly much larger than it appeared from the outside, dominated by red hues complemented by gold, purple, and yellow, splendid and majestic, filled with power and warmth.
"This is the Fireplace Area,"
the Envoy explained.
"It is the position where Combatants stand by, and once they are incorporated into the combat sequence, they must always wait here."
Looking at the empty hall, Rod couldn't help but ask, "Why is there no one here?"
The Envoy answered solemnly, "They are all in battle."
"Everyone?"
"All those who are part of the combat sequence. An empty hall means the combat sequence is at full capacity."
"What is the combat sequence?"
"It's the order of battle. No Combatant can fight continuously, especially the High Rank Combatants. Arranging personnel, adjusting strength, and reasonable distribution is a key duty of the Fire Hall."
