[The Soul of the Starry Knight]
Good!
One is dead!
The light fell, and one Living Corpse Knight had already turned to ash, while another continued to hack at the puppets.
Delight surged in Rod's heart.
These guys didn't seem to have any intelligence; they purely acted on instinct.
There's a chance.
Rod immediately summoned more puppets.
Wood Puppets weren't much of an expense for him now; he already had many in stock.
Flesh Puppets were a bit more advanced, so there were fewer of them.
In just a moment, a few hundred more puppets joined the battle, quickly stabilizing the situation and holding back the enemy.
Having chosen his position well, Rod fired ten fully-formed Star Shuttles once again, and the second knight also fell.
[The Soul of the Starry Knight]
Finally!
Rod gasped for breath.
To kill these monsters.
It had cost him dearly: one "Soul Defense," over eight hundred "Wood Puppets," and sixty "Flesh Puppets."
