Then Stay Today

Saskia eyes squinted as she woke up, adjusting to the soft light in the room. Turning her head, her gazed landed on the clock at the top of the bedside table. 8:45 am. The time registered in her mind, and with it came realization of what happened.

Saskia sat up in the bed as she took in her current state. Her body felt clean, without the sticky remnants of the wold night she had before. The faint scent of soap a lingering trace of Zyair's cologne clung to her skin. She was dressed in a white shirt far to large for her as it hung loosely over her slender body, the hem of it brushing against til her thighs.

It didn't take long to piece things together. Zyair must havve cleaned her up and dressed her after she had fallen asleep. Thinking about the craziness of last night, Saskia eyes shifted to the man beside her, lying on his stomach with his face partially buried in the pillow.
