My hands curled and uncurled as Theo stood before me. I could feel my hands itching to strangle him, but I had to be somewhat calm if I was going to get the information out of him that I wanted.
It was extremely hard not to just reach out and rip his head from his shoulders as I thought of all the pain Mia had been through because of him. I hated to see her cry. Each time I did, I felt such intense anger go through me that I wanted to pummel whoever and whatever upset her. As far as I was concerned, the bastard in front of me was the main cause of all her pain.
And he was going to pay for it, tenfold.
Theo quirked a confused eyebrow. He put his hands up in a pacifying way. “Look, I’m sorry that I didn’t contact you immediately after you were fired, but you should know that I’ve been doing everything I can to clear your name. You didn’t have to break down my door!”
