I tilted my head up toward the warmth of the stage lights, feeling as if I was being bathed in sunlight.
I could almost feel each audience member leaning forward in their seats as I began the final steps of the performance. It was a crucial set of complicated movements that resolved the story. It was a sweet, magical story about an enchanting journey a young fairy goes through. It took countless hours to master the delicate, but powerful footwork.
I glided across the stage as the music swelled, nearing the end of the production. I swirled into a couple of precise pirouettes, exuding a sense of weightlessness befitting of a young fairy.
Paris was as beautiful as I imagined it would be with its rich history and art culture. Whenever I wasn't rehearsing, I was exploring as much of the city as I could. There was so much to do with all the art museums and famous landmarks.
