CHAPTER 5

On the night of the premiere, Emily Billings and Samantha were having the best time ever.

Emily loved attention. It was something she's always wanted since she was a kid, which is why she worked hard to be an actress. She worked hard with so much focus and now she was satisfied. While she was posing for the paparazzi as she held Samantha's hand, she got a phone call from her Personal Assistant, Gregory. She sighed.

"Hello Greg. You know I'm kinda busy now, so it better be important."

"Uhm… yes I know that ma'am, but this IS important. Andrea is leaving the country." Emily's jaw dropped in shock.

"I'm sorry, what?!" She knew her daughter. Andrea is too goodie goodie and boring to even think of running away from the country. She laughed nervously. "That's preposterous Greg."

"Yes I know. I thought so too. But unfortunately it's true. She's with Erin Sapphire." Greg replied with a groan. Emily rolled her eyes and put her hand on her face.

"Not surprised. I always knew that Erin was a bad influence, but this time she's gone too far. Greg, make sure Andrea doesn't even step into a plane! And tell Erin's mother to prepare to hear from me." Greg nodded as she hung up.

Emily was in a sour mood all night. Her daughter, her precious good girl who always knew the right thing to do, was leaving the country without telling her!!! What on earth happened?!

"Mommy, are you ok?" Sam gently tugged on her mom's dress. Emily gave her a faint smile and sighed. "I'm ok honey. Mommy's ok."

"Again....how did you get this car?!" Andrea screeched in Erin's ear. They had managed to ditch the police and Andrea and Buster were feeling so tensed up. Erin on the other hand was as cool as a cucumber and was actually enjoying the whole thing. "Well sweetie, let's just say that I'm always prepared. Did you manage to get the chocolate you wanted?" Andrea turned tomato red in anger. "Are you crazy?! We just escaped from the police and you are busy asking me about chocolates?!" Erin laughed.

"Wow! I thought chocolates solved all problems when it came to you Andrea. You'd sell your freedom for chocolates last time I checked." She kept laughing. Andrea cried.

"We're doomed! Doomed I say!! Also, how are we going to leave the country?! We've been announced missing! You hear me?! MIA!!! How on earth are we going to go without getting noticed?! HUH?!" Erin just chuckled because of her friend's insecurity.

"Here." She said, "Just take these and put them on." She handed Andrea a bag full of different disguises. Andrea's face turned red and she looked like a ripe tomato due to stress. After all she'd been through in one day,her idiopathic craniofacial erythema finally kicked in. "What in Merlin's world is this for??!" Erin just facepalmed as she gently parked the car in the airport. 'How she drives like an expert still surprises me.' Andrea thought. "We are leaving this country no matter what. The culprit is already on his way to the U.S and yet here we are! I'm in a car with a dog looking like he's going through an emotional rollercoaster and a human tomato! Just wear the stupid thing and let's leave."

"But Erin what about…"

"Passports? I got fake passports and IDs. Happy?!" Andrea was beyond flabbergasted. "How on earth did you get those?! You're acting like you've been waiting for this day your entire life like some…spy!" Erin gave Andrea a stern look and Andrea just zipped her mouth shut while looking shocked.

"Good. Now let's get going before your mom finds out about this and decides to shut down the airport." She chuckled and laughed at her joke. Andrea just rolled her eyes and puffed up her cheeks in annoyance. She wanted to laugh, but that would be a sign of weakness. They went into the airport, bags and all, then went through the normal procedures, gave the required documents and weren't even questioned once about anything.

"Well that was surprisingly easy." Andrea thought out loud. Erin gave a smirk of victory.

"See? I told you so. You just have to trust me dude. Everything's gonna be fine." Erin squealed with delight as they got into their passenger seats and were finally off to Washington DC.

Meanwhile, Erin's mom was just arriving at the church with Desmond. She was tired, worried and thinking about the perfect punishment for those girls. Desmond yawned. "Ma'am,I understand that you're unhappy about everything, but let's go home. It's late. You need rest."

Erin's mom looked at her watch. It was 5pm. Truly it was late. She sighed, frustrated about all that happened and wiped a tear from her eye. She had to be strong. "I'm not giving up on my girls. We'll keep trying to call them and tomorrow we'll continue the search. I just came here to get a few things,go ahead and start the car. I'll be with you in a minute." Desmond bowed and left.

As she was about to leave her office, her phone rang. It was Emily, Andrea's mom.

"Hello Emily?"

"Hello Jasmine." Emily said with a cold voice." I heard what happened to James. I'm really sorry about that and I hope he gets well soon."

"Thank you very…"

"ALSO HOW COULD YOU LOSE TWO TEENAGERS FOR CHRIST SAKE?!!! They aren't needles that are practically invisible!" Emily yelled. She wanted to know where her daughter was as soon as possible. Jasmine burst into tears.

"I just followed my husband to the hospital and got a call saying they were gone! I expected them to understand the situation and stay put! I didn't know they had the mind of toddlers! This is beyond reckless!" Emily sighed.

"Ok ok please stop crying. We'll continue the search tomorrow. Good night." She hung up and started pacing her room. 'Andrea is probably scared to death with that crazy friend of hers.' Emily thought to herself. 'What's gonna happen to my baby now?'
