After the morning court session, Yun Chi headed to the Emperor's Imperial Governance Hall.
Although the Emperor had entrusted all state affairs to Yun Chi, he didn't need to pay his respects daily, but since he began monitoring the kingdom, unless something special prevented it, he would visit the Emperor after every morning session – sometimes exchanging a few words, sometimes sharing a cup of tea. Over the years, it had become a habit.
The Emperor trusted Yun Chi, and had handed over the kingdom to his care from the day he started his regency. Yun Chi also held the Emperor in high regard; apart from occasionally making pointed remarks about the Empress, the father and son generally interacted with great amiability.
So, today was no exception. He entered the Imperial Governance Hall, paid his respects to the Emperor, and sat down by his side.
