Su Zizhan raised his brows and looked at the Mei family patriarch, contrasting with the lady of the Mei household who often resided in the inner courtyard, the patriarch understood much more about many things, even though he hadn't even seen or spoken a word to the patriarch since he arrived at the Mei Residence today, but the fact that he started by asking about the cause of his mother's death, was sufficient evidence of his wisdom.

Su Zizhan did not immediately answer him but looked at the Mei family patriarch and said, "Grandfather, Grandmother just told me about some past events, concerning my mother and my father. Grandmother said my father was deeply affectionate, what is your view?"

The Mei family patriarch humphed, "That's someone pretending to be confused while being fully aware. Your grandmother has blurry vision."

Su Zizhan hooked his lips slightly, "Since grandfather sees things clearly, please tell me about my father."
