Yun Chi threw the torch into the ancient coffin, and upon contact with fire, the long-aged wood ignited crisply with a "zila".
In the light of the fire, An Shiqi watched Yun Chi, his face half in shadow and half aglow, utterly calm, yet his eyes were unfathomably dark. He opened his mouth but could utter no other words.
The torch quickly set the coffin ablaze, erasing the message left by Hua Yan. As the flames grew fiercer, An Shiqi finally spoke up, "Crown Prince, we should leave! This place is likely to collapse."
Yun Chi nodded and turned to leave the tomb chamber.
An Shiqi cast one last glance at the coffin now fully engulfed in flames and followed Yun Chi out of the chamber.
Outside the tomb chamber, the heavy snow had stopped, the sun hung high, and the sky was clear and bright.
Yun Chi stood with his hands behind his back, gazing over the imperial mausoleum of the Royal Family of the posterior Liang dynasty.
