On the third day of their romance, Gu Yu cornered Tang Yuran in a nook, watching her with a mischievous and leisurely smile, "I want to be with you."
"Huh?" Tang Yuran looked at him with a bewildered face, stammering, "Aren't we... aren't we already together?"
"What I mean is, from body to soul, from our hair tips to our fingertips, to be together fully, without any blind spots." Gu Yu's lips curled into a naughtily amused smile.
"But... it's only been three days since we made it official..."
"So?" Gu Yu lowered his head, kissing the corner of her lips, murmuring, "But in my heart, you've been there for many years now..."

Following that was the roar of her mother, much like that of a lioness from the east of the river, intermixed with the tremulous pleas for mercy from her father.


Tang Yuran sighed. It was over, her dad was getting scolded again.


Gu Yu, who had changed his clothes and come out of the bathroom, glanced at Tang Yuran sitting on the bed. Then, turning his head to listen to the roaring outside, he hesitated and asked, "What's... what's happening with them?"


"It's nothing, it's nothing. You'll get used to it." Tang Yuran smiled at Gu Yu, then picked up the skirt her mother had thrown onto the bed, looked it over from left to right, and clumsily began to pull it on over herself.


Gu Yu watched her move awkwardly as she dressed and, after a moment of silence, finally sighed, stepped forward, grabbed the edge of her skirt, and whispered, "Don't move around, get your head through first."
