"Mm." Gu Yu glanced at her and responded indifferently before looking up to assess the situation inside the bus.


The bus headed to the station was packed with people; there simply were no seats available.


After taking a look, Gu Yu lowered his head and said to Tang Yuran, "Looks like we'll have to stand all the way there."


"Yeah, no problem; we'll be there soon." Tang Yuran waved at him with an optimistic smile on her face.


"Come on, move further inside," the bus driver called out loudly to the passengers, "there are more people getting on. "


Tang Yuran turned to look at the front door of the bus, where quite a few people were still trying to cram on board, but the bus was already full to bursting.


Gu Yu frowned and wrapped his arm around Tang Yuran, pulling her close without a word.


The driver, seeing no more people could get on, raised his voice to those outside, "Full, full, can't get on anymore, wait for the next one; the buses behind are empty."
