Thirteen Modesty

After arriving in Japan, I became a high school student named Kamiyagawa. Looking around—
Hanako crouched in the bathroom, waiting for someone to knock on the door; the Split-Mouth Woman wandered the streets with scissors in hand; Miss Mary's deathly calls echoed incessantly; the wails and barks in Inunaki Village never ceased; the Ubume searched for her long-dead child; the Aoandon smiled, enticing passersby to play with the lanterns of a hundred demons…
In a crumbling world rampant with sinister tales and malevolent spirits, Kamiyagawa set a small goal for himself:
"Defeat all the demons and monsters, and become the supreme ruler of ghosts and deities."

One piece of good news and one piece of bad news.


The bad news was that due to Kamiyagawa's reckless attempt, all the monsters in Inunaki Pass started to rampage.


The good news was thatfortunately, the last of the powerful Strange Tales creatures in Inunaki Pass was the Evil Canine God.


Early the next day, Kamiyagawa took the flight he had booked in advance and returned to Tokyo Metropolis.


Then he took the train from Haneda International Airport and made his way back home.


He arrived home tired and dusty, locked the door as he left, and couldn't wait to take out his phone and the Takamagahara God Box.


The 12-hour resurrection cooldown had ended, so he logged back into the game!


He had to see for himself what kind of mess had erupted on the Inunaki Pass map.


In his view, patches of color began to intensify, shades of gray overlapped and reformed, finally piecing together the look of a whole new world...
