Thirteen Modesty

After arriving in Japan, I became a high school student named Kamiyagawa. Looking around—
Hanako crouched in the bathroom, waiting for someone to knock on the door; the Split-Mouth Woman wandered the streets with scissors in hand; Miss Mary's deathly calls echoed incessantly; the wails and barks in Inunaki Village never ceased; the Ubume searched for her long-dead child; the Aoandon smiled, enticing passersby to play with the lanterns of a hundred demons…
In a crumbling world rampant with sinister tales and malevolent spirits, Kamiyagawa set a small goal for himself:
"Defeat all the demons and monsters, and become the supreme ruler of ghosts and deities."

Kamiyagawa appeared by the neon-lit Divine Cabinet, with the massive Ferris wheel slowly turning in the night behind him.


The Tachi Ichimonji from within the Mirage Pouch was drawn.


The slim tachi came out of its scabbard.


Kamiyagawa rested the back of the sword on his right shoulder and tossed a 10-yen coin with his left hand as he swaggered towards the depths of the park.


"Now that the big boss is dead, I can finally explore the third map properly," he said.


The real Dreamland Park spans over 60 hectares.


The one in Strange Tale World seems to be even larger.


Since the little old man went with the Hearse Procession to reality, Kamiyagawa could only try to explore the vast map blindly by himself.


He wandered around the park for about ten minutes without encountering a single minor monster.
