After arriving in Japan, I became a high school student named Kamiyagawa. Looking around—
Hanako crouched in the bathroom, waiting for someone to knock on the door; the Split-Mouth Woman wandered the streets with scissors in hand; Miss Mary's deathly calls echoed incessantly; the wails and barks in Inunaki Village never ceased; the Ubume searched for her long-dead child; the Aoandon smiled, enticing passersby to play with the lanterns of a hundred demons…
In a crumbling world rampant with sinister tales and malevolent spirits, Kamiyagawa set a small goal for himself:
"Defeat all the demons and monsters, and become the supreme ruler of ghosts and deities."

Hannya had chased Shiratori out of the Yellow Talisman corridor but didn't continue the pursuit, turning around to head back into the depths of the hallway instead.


All that mattered was making sure no one discovered Kamiyagawa in the surgery room at the end of the corridor.


Previously, because of playing too wildly, Hannya had scared a haunt worker into fainting.


This time, some restraint was in order.


Furthermore, Hannya as a Shikigami in the real world had to rely on the Onmyoji to exist.


Kamiyagawa's body was still in the surgery room at the end of the hallway, so even if Hannya wanted to chase beyond the corridor, it was impossible due to the distance limitation.


The muscle-bound Shiratori fled helter-skelter without choosing his path, and although the Evil Ghost behind him seemed to have stopped chasing, he didn't slow down at all, rushing straight into a staircase leading downwards upon seeing one.
