Kamiyagawa put on a coat in confusion and stood up, opening the door to the master bedroom.

As expected, Hachisaku-sama was standing at the doorway.

Her tall and voluptuous body nearly blocked the entire doorway.

"What's up? Why aren't you sleeping at this hour?" Kamiya asked her.

"Ghost stories don't really need much rest."

Hachisaku-sama stepped aside at the door, where the window on the second-floor corridor lacked curtains, allowing moonlight to spill onto her white dress, making it shiny and translucent.

"You were resting all the time on Oguri Island."

Kamiyagawa walked out of the room, gently closing the door behind him.

"po~ It's different, thanks to Lord Kamiya. Now I can steadily gather a bit of faith to sustain my own actions," she said.

"Seems like you have something to say."

Kamiyagawa already felt it—Hachisaku-sama coming to his bedroom door wasn't to surprise him in the night.
