The Little Miko wouldn't say things like "I feel sorry for you" to Kanoya, that wouldn't be good, not good at all.
She had gone through similar experiences, so she could empathize.
Like her, this child was just living normally in this world.
But still... she kind of wanted to help her out.
"Master said I have a Spirit Womb, right?" Shouka picked up the conversation.
"Yeah, if you want to learn some Talisman Spells, I can actually teach you."
Onizuka was truly kind.
"If Master agrees to it, of course I'd like to!" Shouka flicked off the water droplets from her hand and revealed a bright smile, "Heehee, Sister Onizuka. You are so nice, and beautiful and kind too."
"Not really. It's just because you are Agawa's apprentice."
The Little Miko paused with her spatula in hand, the hot oil in the pan sizzled, and the aroma of frying shrimp filled the kitchen.
"Sister Onizuka."
"Yes?"
Shouka moved closer to the Little Miko and asked softly, "You like my master a lot, don't you?"
