Suddenly, a chilling scream cut through the comms, sending shivers down their spines. The situation intensified as the woman scientist's distress echoed through the communication channel.

Asher, frustration evident in his voice, muttered, "Tsk, things are getting worse!"

Felix chimed in, "Yes, brother, and we've got to move."

Joseph, determined, stated, "You're right, Felix. We need to check the situation."

The remaining two scientists ran for their lives, but one stumbled. "James!" cried the woman.

James, trying to calm Maria, assured her, "It's okay, Maria. I'll buy you some time. You need to go to the security room and increase the temperature. The rising temperature will trigger the laboratory's self-destruct sequence, and it might take them with it."

Maria persisted, "I've already managed to contact the rescue team. They're on their way to save us."

James, looking at the towering Biological Lifeforms outside, responded, "Do you really think they can rescue us? Look at the size of those creatures; they're larger than any mech we've seen."

James urgently exclaimed, "Maria, now! Hurry!"
