Why am I stuck in modded Terraria?

As an every day normal life was going on one day I got reincarnated to Terraria with my classmates. As time passes I realize that Enemies were much tougher than usual, and moved more tactically soon not only my class mates but random people start joining us. There are 3 main groups as time goes on I will be alone in this world.
