Can't move on?

"Sir, here are the keys for room number 101, located on the third floor," the receptionist informed Taylor, handing over the keys. Taylor appeared a bit perplexed, and Anna, sensing his discomfort, directed her gaze towards him.

Quickly, Taylor inquired, "What about her? I've reserved two rooms."

The receptionist patiently clarified, "Sir, we did inform you that there are no available rooms on the third floor until tomorrow.

If you're willing to wait until then, we can make that reservation for you."

Before Taylor could respond, Anna intervened, "No, it's alright. Just tell me which rooms are available on the fourth floor."

The receptionist swiftly responded, "Ma'am, room number 178 is currently available on the fourth floor."

Anna nodded and decisively said, "Alright, please book it for me."

As they settled in the lounge, waiting for their room situation to be resolved, Taylor observed Anna, who appeared oblivious to his gaze.

Seated on the bench, Taylor ordered two Americanos, attempting to ease the tension caused by the room misunderstanding.

Anna, her eyes wandering around the lavishly adorned hotel, seemed to be admiring the exquisite decor.

Breaking the silence, Taylor spoke, "Anna, I'm sorry you had to endure that inconvenience because of me."

Anna reassured him, "Taylor, it's truly alright. You don't have to worry; everything is sorted out now."

At 2:00 in the afternoon, a steward approached Anna and handed her the keys to her room.

Taylor suggested, "Anna, you should rest for a while now." Anna nodded and made her way to her room, seeking some solace and peace.

Meanwhile, Taylor entered his room and promptly dialed his friend's phone number, the one responsible for arranging their trip.

Without wasting a second, Taylor began, "Bro, I booked two rooms. However, upon arrival, I was given only one key.

We managed to secure another room on a different floor, but it was still quite a hassle."

His friend apologized, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, my brother. We had some urgent last-minute arrangements for two additional guests."

Annoyed, Taylor retorted, "But what does that have to do with me? You shouldn't have compromised on our prior arrangements."

His friend explained, "I don't make exceptions, but they are very close friends. Regardless, I apologize once again.

I'll make it up to you by providing an entire day for you and your friend to go wherever you desire. Does that sound acceptable to you?"

Taylor agreed, feeling somewhat relieved at the prospect of a compensatory day.

After stepping into her room, Anna was pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness and elegant decor, although she was too fatigued to take it all in properly.

Retrieving her pajamas from her bag, she quickly changed into them, eager to get some well-deserved rest.

With a swift leap onto the inviting bed, she surrendered to the comfort and drifted off to sleep without exploring her surroundings further.

"........"

"Hats off to you for arranging everything so smoothly, bro," Porsche praised Ken. Ken responded with a confident smile, saying, "Once we arrive there, I'll sleep for a whole day." Porsche chuckled at his friend's comment.

Ken then mentioned, "Our room is on the fourth floor." Porsche, feeling surprised, inquired, "What do you mean by 'our room'? Are we staying together in one room?" Ken nodded with a grin.

Porsche retorted, "What the hell, why?" Ken playfully scolded him, "You piece of shit, you should be thankful to me, and here you are throwing tantrums.

I hired a professional to arrange our trip at the last moment, and he could only manage to book one room for us."

Porsche, slightly annoyed, turned away and gazed out the window as the train glided smoothly through the serene scenery.

Anna woke up at 10 in the evening, feeling a bit disoriented.

In her disorientation, she discovered a balcony she hadn't noticed before. She pulled the curtains aside and stepped onto the balcony.

The nighttime scenery was still enchanting, with the mountains looking particularly captivating.

Anna was captivated by the view as the cool night breeze tousled her dark brown hair, causing her to delicately sniff her petite nose with elegant hands.

Despite all she had been through, her beauty remained ethereal.

Closing her eyes, she relished the sensation of the wind passing through her, bringing a sense of peace.

Yet, unexpectedly, a thought of Porsche emerged in her mind, startling her into opening her eyes.

Suddenly, a wave of cold shivers overtook her, and she felt a surge of fear.

Whispering to herself, "I'm okay, I'm okay," she hastily moved to her bag to fetch her pills, only to remember that she had disposed of all the medications before her trip.

Frantically, she grabbed her water bottle and drank from it, grateful that the dizziness and nausea did not persist.

Anna's phone rang, and she saw that it was Taylor calling. She answered, and Taylor asked, "Anna, were you sleeping? I hope I didn't disturb you."

Anna replied, "No, not at all."

Taylor continued, "I was thinking, would you like to go for a walk by the lake?"

Anna responded with enthusiasm, "Yes, of course."

Taylor advised, "Just remember to wear a jacket. It's quite chilly outside."

After the call ended, Anna hurriedly took a refreshing shower and changed into a long dress before stepping out of her room.

"Finally, we made it," Ken exclaimed with a breath of relief as they arrived at the hotel. Porsche proceeded into the lobby, eager to settle in.

A stewardess approached Porsche and handed him the keys to room 177. "Sir, two persons are staying in that room, correct?" she asked.

Before Porsche could respond, Ken arrived and interjected, "Yes, we are both staying in that room. Could you also please tell me on which floor room number 123 is located?"

The stewardess hesitated for a moment before inquiring, "Sir, are you Ken Barley?"

Ken confirmed, "Yes, that's me."

Porsche stood quietly beside him, observing the interaction. The stewardess continued, "You are Ms. Wennes' brother, right?"

Ken nodded in affirmation as Porsche's interest piqued. The stewardess then added, "She is in room number 123, which is on the third floor."

As the stewardess left, Porsche expressed his surprise to Ken, saying, "Why didn't you tell me that Wennes was coming here? You should have informed me earlier."

Ken replied casually, "Well, I didn't think it was that important."

Porsche retorted, "Shut up, you have no idea how much I've longed to see her ever since she left the country."

They made their way to room number 123. As Wennes opened the door, Porsche immediately enveloped her in a tight embrace. Ken, slightly taken aback, cautioned, "Hey, be careful, she's five months pregnant."

Stepping back in astonishment, Ken exclaimed, "What? I wasn't even told about this. Oh my God, are you guys for real? I'm so happy for you, Wennes."

The three of them engaged in lengthy conversations in the hotel's courtyard. As they were on their way to their respective rooms, Porsche caught sight of Anna with Taylor.

He immediately turned to Ken and started to say, "Hey, there's Anna--"

However, before he could finish his sentence, Porsche collapsed to the floor, losing consciousness.
