As I was introduced to the class in the middle of the lecture the lecture resumed as it was supposed to.

The topic was apparently something about mutation of martial spirit and martial spirit clans.

Though it was something that I had already read in the few books that were available at home.

Yeah, through this time I was not given as much freedom, or should I call I was not ignored by my 'Master'.

As I was given different types of books every two days to read and memories them.

Though that much did not require even half a day. Just seeing it once was enough. 

Still seeing my speed of memorizing I was given some more homework, but that wasn't so bad as I found this kind of activity fun.

Still, seeing the content of the lecture I realized, just how limited the information provided at elite class is.

While it is still quite close to the original one, some crucial knowledge is still not taught here.

After an hour and half later we were done with our morning classes and allowed to leave.

So, I decided to meet up with sister Nana and we got ready to go to cafeteria.

There were two boys following Sister Nana to whom she introduced me, "Here, Junior Brother! This is my brother Xie Yue and Yan."

I smiled and said, "Hello seniors!" 

Xie Yue just smiled quite awkwardly while nodding and Yan just scoffed.

'Such rude little brats!' I mentally complained seeing their attitude.

Throughout the lunch we had, Yan kept glaring at me like I had run away with his sister, does he have one?

So, what is his deal.

Or is he kinda… psycho?

As I and Sister Nana were on our way towards the second floor of the cafeteria she held out my hand and said, "Say, what food do you like? I will treat you."

"Favorite food huh? Well, nothing in particular. How about you treat me something you like maybe it will become my favorite as well." I said giving her a cheeky smile.

"O-oh! Then, you are welcome to try. But it will take number of days to eat everything!" She said sputtering a bit at the start.

"I will just have that many options to choose from then!"

But, seeing us laughing happily while holding hands was maybe just too much for a certain someone.

Still, it's good till he is only observing from afar, should he try to do something funny, I am not ashamed to bully little kid.

After lunch, Fu Xuan was being dragged to the classroom by Hu Leina who insisted on showing him around since it is his first day at the academy.

Fu Xuan could not help but let himself be dragged by her with a wry expression on his face.

What could he do if she just insists on showing him around even when he told her that he had been shown around?

So, after completing the rest of the lectures they had the rest of the day to spend as they wished.

'Hmm, I thought from the hype of Golden generation and elite class and whatnot, the schedule would be really busy for them. Seems like I was not that accurate as I expected.' Though Fu Xuan finding the elite class not that different form regular course.

"Junior Brother!" Said Hu Liena calling out to him, "Do you… umm, maybe… uhh… now that we are alone, can we… the two of us.." stuttering in between while having her cheeks flushed.

"Together what?" Said Fu Xuan, surprised at what can cause the usual bold and teasing Sister Nana be so flustered about.

"Yes! Can we start… like, from now on… Do what we were supposed to…?" She said fumbling around a bit while making circles with her fingers.

Suddenly as if having and epiphany, Fu Xuan said, "Oh! Do you want to train together?"

"Yes! That's it!" She said returning to her usual look.

'That's what she was so embarrassed about? People of cultivation world are really weird.'

"So, lets do it this way. Every day till evening we will train here at the academy after classes, is that okay?" He asked at which she nodded.

"Umu!"

In a modern world's setting, in the large town of Tokyo where the city never sleeps.

An unusual terror looms across the alleyways.

Many times, peoples going through these areas never get to return home.

How does this happen? Where do these people go?

No one know for sure.

Some say there is a human trafficking gang of sort operating in here.

They sell people of their organs to other countries.

Some say there is a ghost looming over in the shadows.

A monster in human form, with red eyes and tentacle like appendages growing from there back.

A monster which devours human flesh.

A Ghoul.

Last one can be seen as the most likely rumor, but what not everyone knows… is it's the actual truth.

"That is an interesting story, by the way have you seen a real ghoul?" Asked the purple haired girl to the man who is telling the story of ghouls roaming in the city.

"You might not believe it, but I had encountered once such monster during my way home." Said the man adding breath to his voice making him seem mysterious.

"Ah! No way, have you actually seen it?" cried out the woman the girl in fright.

"It's hard to believe right? I was shocked too when I saw it." Said the man describing his experience as a scary one.

"How does it look like? Is that thing really human like, as they say?" Asked the girl with fear in her voice.

"No way! Those monsters are really scary. You can just know from a look. People may say that, but I know it is a vicious creature, without any gender or mind! Thank God, I had the holy cross with me, or I would have died!" Said the man trying to sound as genuine as possible.

"Say… can you drop me till my house? I am really scared now." Said the girl with genuine fear in her voice, but only in her voice.

"Certainly! That's what gentlemen do!" He said walking forward.

"Oh! How kind of you." Said the girl but her eyes were gleaming in cold light.

After walking a few more steps the man realized that he has been walking for a while, and the girl he caught tonight wasn't really telling directions anymore.

He realized that even the sound of walking was not being heard, especially when he was passing through such quiet alleyways where even needle drop sound could be heard by.

'Where in the damn place does this bitch lives? Wasn't this supposed to be a shortcut? Even I am feeling chills. Just you wait till we reach your home. I will make you cry sorry in bed. Hehehe…' Thought the man let out a vulgar grin.

Feeling the oddness of the situation reaching its limit, he still tried to maintain his gentlemanly demeanor on the outside as he turned around.

"By the way, how long is the way till your hom-!?!"

*Crash* *Swipe* *tatter*

As he turned around, he saw a red tentacle like thing passing through his stomach holding him midair as blood rolled out of his mouth.

"Fufu, did you forget your holy cross at home mister? Didn't you say it is a must if want those monsters to not kill you? Then why didn't bring it? Hahaha"

Said the girl with her eyes turning abnormal having red irises surrounded by black sclera.

Dark crimson blood colored tentacle like appendages being drawn from her back spread in the air made this quite a terrifying view to see.

"M-Monster" he said with great difficulty having irresistible fear and agony in his eyes.

At that she made a pout with one both of her hands on her waist as if she is being wronged.

"How rude! I am hero not a monster! Look I even bothered to look for evidence of your wrongdoing before killing you!"

She said before throwing out various papers containing multiple reports about his crimes such as murder, rape, smuggling, torture, enforced slavery and many others.

"Y-your crazy-" he said before following the imminent.

"Hm? Looks like he dropped dead. No can do. Will have to freeze him and share some with the coffee shop of this ward. At least kids should have fresh food!" She said before taking care of the body while also checking the mission reward she got.

"Nice! That one will be complete now!" She smiled at that.

She is Rize Kamishiro, a ghoul of 6th ward.

She is now 17 years old. And one of the strongest if not strongest ghouls in the world.

Exactly 3 years ago, when she was targeting the ghouls following her habit of a Binge Eater she got an invitation to the multiverse chat group.

Following which she became one of the first members of the group after the Admin(Fu Yue) of course.

At first, she was very reluctant to follow the quests of the system.

Many of which she outright ignored; she might be the first one to do so while seeing the penalty given and all.

Overtime, she accidently did complete one mission.

And that one became a pleasant memory in her mind.

Se obtained a power which allowed her to store things in a space where time does not flow.

How nice is that! She just needs to hunt once and can eat for a week without worrying about the food being spoiled, not to mention the other rewards that the system quest offers.

Frankly speaking, life is going very smoothly for Rize, she has even started to look into people more before directly killing them.

One can say she is very much happy with this kind of life.

Though this repetitiveness did bring her the element of boredom which she found quite noticeable as of now.

But just a few weeks ago some new members joined the chat group.

At first she just thought of them as some brats that will prove to be burden in the upcoming elite mission of the multiverse chat group.

Who would have known that the youngest one will give her some such surprise that might change her perspective of them.

'Murim style: Origin Breath of Qi' is the technique he shared with everyone.

Who would have known that such thing he will share with everyone so casually?

Though, he did say that it will be probably useless to someone without any existing energy and probably will not result in anything.

But he also said that this technique is actually used to build up Ki of murim world.

So, Rize decided to give it a try.

"Who knew it will actually be a success." Said rise as she observed a small blade of Qi covering her palm, while sitting atop of a really high skyscraper. Overlooking the city bellow.

While feeling the cold wind of night pressing on her skin, she said.

"Interesting, very interesting. It will be fun meeting you 'Reincarnated Rune-Master'."
