A/N: Hey guys: Thanks for sticking with me through this whole thing, and sorry I haven't posted in a little bit, I did edit and rewrite some parts of the story so if you want to go back and read that's fine. I think it might be a little more concise if you do that though. Anyways, enough rambling. Enjoy the new chapter. :D

"Over here you oversized turd!" Eugene waved his sword and shield at a Gronckle, taunting it to chase him. As it diverted its attention towards him it fired a blast of magma in his direction.
Dodging, he rolls to the side before sprinting at the beast, jumping at it, shield in hand he bashed its side, knocking it to the ground. Disoriented it scrambles to its feet, shaking its head before trying to find him.
Unfortunately for it, he was already behind it and ready to strike. Giving himself a running start, he leaped onto the dragon and hit it as hard as he could in the center of its head, knocking it to the ground once more as it lay unconscious.
Cheers erupted throughout the arena as the Vikings cheered on Eugene's victory. Eugene stood there as Hicca came up to congratulate him.
"Nice work Eugene!"
"Thanks, it was nothing."
As they began chatting for a little bit Stoick abruptly shouted, silencing everyone.
"Wait! Wait! Ok, quiet down! The elder is deciding.
After everything fell silent Gothi approached the railings of the arena, looking at the three main candidates to kill the dragon for their final test. Gobber stood behind them as Gothi began to pick. Gobber first pointed at Astrid whom she shook her head at, then Hicca whom she paused for a moment, but ultimately decided not to choose, and finally Gobber pointed at Eugene whom Gothi smiled at and pointed at him herself.
The cheers of the Vikings erupted once more as everyone cheered for Eugene. Eugene simply cheered with them on the outside, but on the inside, he wasn't so cheerful.

As the sun began to set me and Hicca were walking through the forest as we began talking.
"You can't kill that dragon Eugene!" Hicca shouted at me as we walked through the forest together.
"What other choice do I have?" I said as I kicked a rock as we walked.
"Look, I've been finding a lot of ways to subdue a dragon without killing it. I can teach them to you so you don't even have to kill it. We can show the people that there is a better way than war with the dragons." Hicca looked at me in excitement at the plan she just came up with.
"Yes, I'm well aware of the methods you've been using, but I don't think your dad is going to be happy if I decide to try and show everyone that we don't have to kill dragons…"
"You're right… he's too stubborn, but don't worry we'll think of something. Anyway, what did you want to show me?"
"You'll see." I say, snickering to myself.
After walking for a little bit more we finally reached the cave and I called out to Indra. As he approached, his massive frame came walking out of the entrance and Hicca froze in shock.
"Pretty amazing huh?" I said grinning as I walked up in front of him to show him off as he puffed out his chest in turn.
Shaking her head she snapped out of her shock before squealing. "He's amazing! How did you tame him?!" She asked rushing up to me as Indra slightly growled at her.
"It's fine boy, she's a friend. And to answer your question we kinda, sorta… almost killed each other." I told her looking away as Indra snorted smoke at me.
"Wow... that's way nothing like how me and Toothless bonded." She told me shocked at the situation.
"Oh, whatever, but that is not the only thing I wanted to do today." I told her as I waved my hand to get Indra to lower his head.
"What else could you want to do?"
Getting on Indra I reach my hand out to her before grinning widely. Realizing what I was asking she grabbed my hand as I pulled her up behind me.
"Alright, Indra you ready?" I asked the dragon as Hicca wrapped her arms around me.

With a low growl, Indra takes a stance before pushing off the ground as he takes flight. As we fly the Sun begins setting, and Indra takes us up to the clouds.
Tapping Indra to take us above the clouds, we see the stars and the glowing torches of Berk. Hicca could only take in the amazing sight as she leaned in closer to me. Flying over Berk they fly further in the distance before Indra senses something.
"What is it bud?" I asked as Indra began grunting at me. 'Hmm, I know what this means...' Flying in the fog we began hearing numerous growls from all directions, as multiple different species of dragon began flying by us.
"Get down!" Hicca whispers as she pushes me down. "We need to get out of here." She said tapping on my shoulder.
"No, we need to find out where all these different dragons are going." I told her, tapping Indra and gesturing for him to fly with the rest of the dragons.
As we continued to fly, a huge volcano appeared in the distance. Flying into a giant crack in the volcano we saw multiple types of nests of different dragons.
"What my dad wouldn't give to find this…" Hicca said as she looked around the inside of the volcano nest.
As Indra found a big enough pillar to land on we watched as all the dragons began dropping their kills down a huge hole.
"Well it's nice to know that all our food is being dumped into a pit of lava." Hicca said sarcastically.
"I don't think it's just a pit of lava Hicca." I told her, carefully observing the pit knowing what was about to happen.
"What do you mean?"
"Just look."
Hicca began watching as the last dragon dropped the smallest fish down the hole before attempting to flee. Unable to move quick enough, a leviathan-class dragon emerged from the pit, swallowing the dragon whole.
"We need to leave. Like right now Eugene!" Hicca shouts at me as I quickly instruct Indra to leave.
As we began flying out of the volcano all the dragons began trying to escape as the enormous dragon snatched another dragon out of the air, swallowing it.
