Hey guys, sorry if this chapter is too short. Btw I'm thinking about creating another book so I'll at least have something else to work on while I'm mulling over how to get the chapters of this one out.
Go check out my Polls chapter and I'll start writing the fanfiction of whichever has the highest number of comments in 3 days, but it probably won't be out for a bit. Anyways, enough ranting, enjoy the chapter yall and any constructive criticism is welcome.

Dragons flew all over Berk, stealing food and chasing livestock. It was chaos as Vikings dove at dragons, attempting to take back what was theirs.
"My apples!"
"No!"
"Give me back my food you pest!"
Yep, some would say that life has been a lot better ever since they made peace with the dragons, but unfortunately for them dragons are still dragons.

"Well isn't this something…" I chuckled as me and Hicca landed our dragons.
"Yeah, even though we're not fighting with the dragons anymore it doesn't mean they still aren't wild animals." Hicca told me as she glanced around at the ensuing chaos.
"Mm, mm," Nodding my head as I also glanced around I looked up to see multiple dragons flying across the village before hearing someone yell.
"Dragon poo!"
"Agh! Sick!" I shouted as my face contorted in disgust as some dragon crap landed next to me. "Run!" Me and Hicca began running for cover as the barrage dragon filth came raining down.
"That is nasty." I heard Hicca mutter as we watched from under some shelter.

[The Day After]
"Store the elk in the back, fishing boats just got back from with a large catch." Stoick ordered as a decrepit old man walked towards him.
"Stoick!" The old man shouted.
"Ah, here's Mildew with the complaint of the day." Gobber sarcastically said to Stoick, as they both turned toward the old man.
"You picked a bad time today Mildew, I'm in the middle of storing food for the coming winter." Stoick told him as he watched Mildew approach.
"It's these darn dragons. Those… pests are not meant to live among us!"
"Neither are you Mildew. Why do you think we built your house so far away from the village?" Gobber jabbed at him.
"Oh go ahead make your jokes. Meanwhile these dragons are tearing our village apart! Turning everyone's house into piles of rubble!" He shouted while pointing to some Vikings fixing a house.
"He's Right!"
"Go on Mildew!"
Vikings began to gather around them as Mildew's shouts drew in more people.
"These are untamed wild beasts! They need to be caged!" He yelled as the crowd grew more unruly.
Hicca jumped in front of Stoick as she tried calming the people down, Eugene not too far from the side of her.
"They don't mean any harm to us. They're just dragons being dragons." She reasoned before Stoick took the spotlight once more.
"Look Mildew, if there's a problem then I'll deal with it."
"Oh there is a problem, Stoick, and I think I speak for us all when I say you'd better do something about it." Mildew said as he left, the crowd shouts getting louder.

It was now the next day after that whole angry mob, me and Hicca were now standing in the village center as she stood next to me with a prideful grin plastered on her face.
"What's with the smug look?"
"It's not a smug look Eugene. It's one of pride. My father gave me a chance to take care of the dragons, so I'm going to make a change around here."
I blankly stare at her as she begins to march towards a dragon harassing a woman. I watched as she tried to calm the out of control dragon down, she failed miserably, dodging some other dragons as she attempted to stop all the chaos around her.
As I continued watching, Indra's large frame strolls up behind me before sitting down.
"Should we help her?" I asked my dragon to which he just grunted, not budging at all as we watched her put out a flaming sheep. "And it's 3 o'clock".

[Stoick's House]
"Everything hurts." Hicca moaned as she sat on her bed massaging her bruised body.
"Well yeah you got tossed around like a rag doll" I said leaning against the wall right as Stoick entered the room.
"Hicca!"
"Hey! Dad! How's it going?" Hicca said as she got up from the bed.
"What is going on out there? The town looks like a warzone!"
"Look I know how it looks right now, but I promise I'm working on it. We just need more time."
"Well, I hope that you work it out fast because Mildew has stirred the entire island. If you don't get control of those dragons soon they'll be gunning for their hides." He said as he left.

[The Next Day At The Arena]
"So this is your master plan? Train the dragons?" Ruffnut scoffed.
"Were we used to, you know… kill them." Tuffnut added.
"Yep because we don't do that anymore now do we?" Hicca said as she set a basket down on the ground.
"Well let's try and hurry it up Indra has a big appetite and starts to get hangry when he hasn't eaten in a while." Eugene said as he patted his dragon's head. Indra just snorted as a puff of smoke came from his nose.
"It's amazing your dad just gave us the arena to use." Astrid said as she walked up to Hicca.
"Yeah that's the other thing, I'm kinda going behind his back and doing this." She quickly sputtered out.
"Ever the deviant my dear Hicca." Eugene quipped as she leaned against Indra.
"Shut it Eugene!" She huffed before getting back to the topic at hand. "The dragons are out of control, Mildew wants all our dragons caged, and I don't know about you, but that's not ok with me."
"You know Hicca, you could just have me and Indra take a crack at getting the dragons under control after all, he is a titan wing Skrill." Eugene said as he patted the dragon's side.
"Hmm, ok. Eugene, you see if you and Indra can't get the dragons under control. Me and the rest of the guys will continue to try other methods." She told him, before shooing him away.
