Chapter 276: Meeting with the Principal

"Thank you, Sir," she said as he closed the door and quickly fixed her seatbelt. She looked around nervously and quickly got in.

"Did you forget something? Why were you glancing around?" the CEO saw her actions.

"Ah, no, Sir. I was just checking the weather," Loreen made up a reason.

'Ugh. It had to be the classic usual reason when one has nothing else to say,' she regretted saying it.

"I see," the CEO nodded.

Loreen was the CEO let it be as he turned the key and started the car.

James usually drove for him but since he was away, the CEO himself had to drive.

It was somewhat embarrassing to be with her boss and be the one in the passenger seat. She wanted to offer to be the one to drive but it was too late since they were both already seated.
