Chapter 292: Far From the Truth

"Yes, doctor. I will follow your advice," Loreen nodded religiously. 

Then, she seemed to realize something and froze. She turned to the wall clock and gasped.

"Oh my god! I'm late for work! I need to go to work now. Wait, I need to contact the office," Loreen looked around for her phone.

Matthew chuckled silently at her panic and finally entered.

"Didn't you just say you will take care of your baby? You almost had a miscarriage. You should rest first," the doctor reminded me.

"Oh, right. Then, I have to contact the office first. But what should I say?" Loreen sighed deeply.

"I think you don't have to worry about that since your boss is here," the doctor said.

Loreen looked confused and looked around. Her eyes grew like platters when she saw him. "S-Sir?!"

Matthew chuckled again. In just a few minutes, he just saw new expressions on Loreen's usually calm and collected face.
