Madam Jiang's eyes burned with fury as she turned her gaze upon Tang Ziyi, her lips curled into a snarl of disgust. "You," she spat, pointing an accusing finger at him. "How dare you show your face here, you bastard child?"

Master Jiang flinched at his wife's venomous words, but before he could intervene, Madam Jiang rounded on him. "And you, Honglin! Why didn't you take that... that thing to an orphanage in some far-off city? Why did you have to burden the Tangs with your mistake?"

Master Jiang's expression was pained, his eyes pleading for understanding. "The Tangs were our friends, and I knew they would take good care of him. It was the best option at the time."

"The best option?" Madam Jiang's voice rose to a shrill screech. "You brought shame upon our family, and then you had the audacity to foist your illegitimate spawn onto our friends? What were you thinking?"
