chapter 28- BLAIRE’S pov

It was time for the training today and according to Maxwell my trainer, he said it was on a different level.

So, I transformed into a creature of fur and fang. The training grounds became an arena where my wolf within was honed and disciplined. My muscles flex beneath the fur, responding to the call of the wild, as the werewolf learned to navigate the terrain with the grace of the lupine and the intellect of the human. It was a very important part of the training, to train my mental strength so I wouldn't attack someone I wasn't supposed to or feed on animals.

The lessons extend beyond mere physicality. Guided by an innate connection to the lunar cycle, the werewolves were taught to hone their senses, attuning their ears to the rustle of leaves, and their noses to the nuances of scent carried by the wind. In the veil of night, we became adept trackers, creatures navigating the tapestry of scents with a finesse that transcended the limitations of our dual nature.
