He moved the phone away from his ear and then brought it back. "Damn it, I'll deal with you later," Erika said, closing the call. Ronald turned to check Sabrina's condition. After her surgery, he couldn't see her again. He felt as if he had lost his friend's trust.

 "Joliet!" Rafael shouted, seeing the dress torn by random gunshots. Several police officers' bodies lay near the door and in the courtyard. 

He opened the door and began calling her. All the windows were shattered, a massive number of shots destroying the furniture in the house. He heard Joliet's sobbing coming from the basement.

Upon entering, he collided with the wall, a wooden board thrown by Joliet's strength. She held her child, panting as if someone were chasing her.
