Chaos in Australia

Under the cold rain, people were running to get on the plane before the creatures got to them. Mothers forgot their children, husbands forgot their wives, and children were running and confused. A lady ran inside the plane as fast as she could with her four-year-old son. The door was shut right before the creatures could get in and everyone was screaming at the bangs the creatures were making on the plane. The pilots took off and everyone was relieved, some even looked through the window to see how people were bitten... Killed or turned.

Towels were offered for all the passengers to dry their hair. The woman that ran inside with her four-year-old son, took her son to the bathroom and locked him there. She rested on the bathroom door when the Steward came to tell her to go to her seat and she obeyed without taking her son with her.

"she came in with her son... About five years or so" one of the passengers whispers to the person sitting next to him and they both look at her. She heard them but pretended not to hear them and she sat down quietly.

"everyone should put on their seatbelt... I repeat... Everyone should use their seatbelt." the voice said and everyone began to use their belts.

"Hey! Woman, Where is your son the plane has taken off. It's dangerous." a woman whispered to her from behind.

"he's in the bathroom... I couldn't take him with me because the steward told me to come here... I bet he's been taken care of. " she said clearly so that those sitting around her would hear and she smiled warmly.

"where is this plane heading to anyways?  One of the passengers asked.

"Australia!" someone responded.

"wow! I have no business with Australia... I wanted to board a Nigeria plane before all the commotion but it took off immediately and many of us could not get in." he explained

"well!  We are all safe here. Let's hope for the best" An old woman said.

"you can stay in my place for a few days. " another man said.

"thank you" he smiled.  "I will get a Nigeria ticket immediately we leave here and stay in a hotel overnight."

"Nigeria is not allowing any international plane... The one that took off is heading to South Africa because Ghana and all nearby countries didn't allow the plane to enter their territory." a teenage boy said briefly.

"How did you know that... Your phone is supposed to be in flight mode." a man questioned.

"I got the information right before we took off. Information gets to Nigeria faster than any other country and they shut their airports immediately. They are also good at sharing information. What just happened in America, is on social media... It's everywhere."

"wow! I heard there is maximum protection for the unknown disease in Africa... Now there are crazy creatures everywhere... I think they are just being protective." a lady said

"After leaving Australia, I'm planning to get myself checked and then go to Africa. Maybe Togo or anywhere." Another man said.

The stewardess came with complimentary snacks and drinks. She continued sharing and someone asked all of a sudden.

"You told this woman to leave her kid and come here... Who does that?"

"I don't know what you are talking about." the stewardess replied.

"she probably said you guys told her to come to her seat and maybe take care of her child which was in the closet at that time." the teenage boy explained.

"Ma'am, did any of the stewards tell you that?" the stewardess asked and the woman nodded positively.

"no Steward will tell you that. I believe there is a misunderstanding somewhere. I will get your son... Which part of the plane is he?"

She pointed at the nearby closet.

"I will get him for you. spare me some minutes." the stewardess said and continued to give the passengers their complimentary snacks and juice.

Immediately the woman saw the stewardess heading towards the closet, she left her seat and went to the other closet.

"something is not right here. I can sense it. " the teenage boy said to himself. "I saw that woman running in here with the boy... She left her in the bathroom and claimed the steward to her. Who will leave her son in the bathroom alone." he rested his back and said in his mind. "not my business! I'm sure she's one of those women that abandoned their child... My mum did the same anyways." he used his earpod and closed his eyes.  Suddenly, he opened his eyes and said to himself. "I won't let that boy go through what I went through. Everyone here is minding their business. I should go to the stewards myself."

He said stood up, entered the steward cabin and closed the door behind. He looked around and there was no one there. he went to the pilot door and knocked. The food was opened for him and the man said.

"you should not be here. Is there no attendant there? " he asked politely.

"No!  I guess they are all busy. A woman is trying to Abandon is little son on the plane.  She locked him in the closet for more than 30 minutes now. I hope they do something about it. " the boss explained

"thank you for your concern. Someone will look into that..." The pilot was interrupted by the steward who entered. "where were you?  This Mr. needs you. "

"thank you and what do you need me for? " he asked politely and the boy told hin less him where the problem was coming from.

"go with him... He will take care of everything." the pilot said and went back to his seat.

"Are you sure about it?" the steward asked on their way out.

"I'm not a child!" the teenage boy replied without looking at him.

"how old are you?"

"15! Will be an adult soon!" the teenage boy replied and the steward smiled.

He opened the door to the cabin, he stood stunned with the boy and whispered to himself.

"holly molly!"

Right in front of them were people, male and female, children and adults fighting for their lives. The stewardess that went to check on the boy earlier had turned intohorrorful creature and likewise most passengers.

"Go to the pilots now! I will lock the door and look for what to do to stop them from getting to us." the steward told the boy but the boy moved forward instead. "what are you doing?"

"See that little girl over there." he pointed at a 6-year-old girl running towards them and a few meters away from the creatures.

"what if she is bitten?" the man shouted and the creatures looked their way.

"she will turn before I get to her," he shouted back just for the steward to hear him but the creatures were very sensitive to sound and they started biting and moving as fast as they could towards the boy.

He reached for the girl, carried her and ran as fast as he could to the steward. The creatures ran after him with speed which was thrice the boy's.

"hop in come one.... They are right behind you!" the steward warned him

The boy got there right on time. He didn't stop at the steward's place but headed to the pilot and the steward locked the door immediately the boy passed him which made the creatures hit the door instead of entering.

The steward waited a bit after locking the door and placed a call to the pilots.

"the boy that came earlier and a girl will come to you. Please allow them in and I will join them right now. We are in danger! "

Hearing that, one of the pilots checked the door camera and saw the boy just getting there with the girl. He opened the door allowed them in and was shocked to see blood on the girl's clothes.

"Are you okay?" the pilot asked the girl and the steward ran in.

"lock the door right now!" he said in panic and the pilot did just that.

The other pilot turned and asked.

"what's going on here?"

"they have all turned." the steward said and the men were shocked.

"Someone bit mummy and she died!'' the girl cried.

"you will be fine." the steward said and rubbed the blood off her face.

"I don't like her bloody dress. I have two tops on and I can give her one... Each one is about her knee length." the teenage boy said.

"you cannot start undressing her here. She is a girl." the steward said.

"Can you dress yourself up?" the boy asked the little girl and she nodded negatively

"You see that? Don't be ridiculous... I have a sister about her age and I bathe her because we have no mum... She is of my sister's situation now," he said without being emotional but others felt the sadness in every word.

"just do it." the pilot said and the boy knelt in front of her, removed his clothes, cleaned her face with the pilot's face wipes and changed her clothes.

"thank you!" the girl said as she looked at her knee-length, rolled-up sleeves top.  "what is your name?" she asked calmly.

He looked at her for a while and stood up

"Abel!...what about you?"

"Jade." she replied but wouldn't stop looking at Abel. "the boy in the closet...bit the stewardess... She also started biting people, some joined while some could not even get up....my mummy told me to hide anywhere... I saw you just in time....mummy did not get up... Because that man bit her."

Abel put his forefinger on her lips

"It's okay Jade. You are fine now." he hugged her tightly.

"just checked the camera now and the door to the cabin was broken by them... I'm sure the one here is stronger but I just hope they will not crash the plane before we land. " the steward informed them.

"We have to notify them in Australia. So that they will tell us what to do." the second pilot said.

"Fine!" said the first pilot and he put on his headset to place a call. "there is a problem right here! All passengers have turned but only five of us remain.....yes! .... In two hours, we will reach Australia.....is that possible?..... I believe it will help!  Thank you" he removed his headphones and faced others. "I was told to let in the air when we get to the next sea and that will blow them all out and... We shall land in Australia safely. "

"that's a good idea." The steward said

"When I was on my way here with Jadr, I realised that those creatures are highly sensitive to sound... They became faster and more aggressive when the steward shouted for me to hurry!... If we need to go out there in any way, we should keep our voices low... " he was interrupted by the loud bang on the door and a weird noise.

They all looked alert except the boy,  he held the girl and whispered to them all.

"We need to keep our voices down... Even in here. " they all nodded in agreement.

"let's do this! The pilot whispered and pressed a button which allowed air to enter the cabin and the creatures were blown off.

There was a silence! They all felt relieved and all of a sudden, the banging continued.  The pilot checked the camera and realised that those in the cabin were all gone but there were some of them at the entrance of the pilot's cabin and no air could get there.

"I'm scared!" The girl whispered.

"Whenever you are scared, just give me a tight hug... I'm sure it will help" Abel whispered back and Jade nodded.

"There is no way we can communicate with those at the airport. Their noise and banging have reduced because there is no sound from here." the first pilot whispered and they looked at the camera.

"but they are still here... What are we going to do?" Abel Whispered.

"a minute call will not kill us and I will keep my voice down as much as I can." the first pilot whispered.

The pilot put on his headphones again.

"the situation is tight here.... " he paused when he heard an aggressive noise from the creatures which was due to the sound they heard and he looked at others in fear.

"Carry on" the second pilot whispered.

"... The air didn't clear them all... Many are banging on our door here....there's no way we can do that... You mean?... Don't do that to us, there are two kids here and we still have the chance to...." he dropped the headphones in disappointment.

"what is going on?" the second pilot asked.

"they ended the call, and told me not to allow the plane into Australia so that we will not endanger people's lives," he whispered.

"what about these children?" the steward asked in frustration and all the pilots could do was to show him their disappointed faces.

"Are we going to die here?" Jade asked sadly but Abel hugged her instead.

The first pilot used his headphones again.

"listen. We serve Australia... We have served Australia as a country and also as a continent and your freaking company also.  We will land in Australia in 15 minutes... If you want, you may allow the five survivors to leave and blow up the plane or you should fire us all when we get down from the plane and we will know that you killed us." he removed his headphones without waiting for their response and even his partner was shocked.

The creatures started banging the four so hard and all of a sudden, the opening to the underground entrance was being pushed by the creatures.

"See that? "  Abel whispered and the steward nodded.

"We have to keep them away, we will land at Australia International Airport in 2 minutes... We will run outside, close the door on them I'm sure they will come to our rescue." the second pilot whispered to reassure and motivate them.

The steward carried a plank and placed it on the underground entrance to prevent them from entering.

"here we are" the first pilot announced Abel carried Jade and they were all prepared to get down.

Due to the noise from the plane landing, the creatures left the pilot doors and started looking for where the noise was coming from.

The Australian Armies surrounded the plane and the five survivors got down happily. They wanted them to leave the plane completely so that they could set fire on the plane. While they were hurrying out of the scene, the creatures started jumping off the windows and some landed on Jade and Abel. The Armies started shooting the creatures but the noise from the guns made them aggressive and they were as fast as ever before. By the time those that fell on Jade and Abel left them, Jade was dead on the floor and Abel had turned.

"fuck!" the steward cursed under his breath and as he was running, most of the creatures outrun them and he was also turned.

The creatures had bitten almost all the armies and the creatures were everywhere at the airport. Those who were waiting because their flights were delayed also got bitten. In a few minutes,  creatures were all over the airport and outside.

Only the second pilot made it out of the airport alive and the news was all over the world. 'CHAOS IN AUSTRALIA'
