Virgin

"Is that him??"

From the far corner of a snowy area, a young man yelled, as if trying to draw attention to himself.

Almost immediately after those words left his mouth, several other young men and a few guards looked over at where he was pointing. However, all they saw was a gust of snowy wind blowing around.

"Don't raise false alarms, keep on searching."

One of the guards commanded, they had been here for two straight days looking for the young master, or at least his corpse. But even now, they couldn't find him. The storm was still like it was before, only it seemed To have shrunken by a little. So they had to begin their search.

"Seriously, there's a shadow in the storm"

The young man from earlier insisted that what he saw was correct, but the others just ignored him. They had been countless false alarms so far and each time they had nearly lost their lives trying to verify, unless it was something they could verify, they would rather not go in.

"Fine!! I'll check by myself."

The young man departed from the group himself and went straight towards the snow storm. He was called Thane, he was one of the members of Lance's Blood hound troop. Lance had taken them when they were at their lowest and given them purpose. He owed Lance his life and would do his best to help him.

Before long, Thane went closer and closer to the snow storm. In there was the vague shadow knelt on the floor with a sword in front of him, acting like a sort of support.

"Is that you, big brother Lance?"

Thane managed to shout at the figure, even with the snow storm drowning him out, it was Loud enough to draw the attention of some others in the search party.

"Woooo"

"Wooooo"

"Wooooo"

The sound of the raging storm became more and more unbearable the closer Thane went towards it, but he kept his composure and pushed forward.

Lance was right before him if only he could bring him out.

On the outskirts, Asher too noticed this movement and promptly followed behind. So many believed that lance was ahead, but not him. They were bound to lance for life, if he died they would at the least feel it.

"Almost!!"

While stretching his hand forward, Thane touched the figure that drew him into the storm. It was cold and hard, unlike the body of a person.

"Was I mistaken? "

Thane was disappointed, but at the last minute, a pile of snow that was on top of the ice structure fell down and the face of a young man appeared.

Ashers POV

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

As Asher and Ember approached the area Thane had just entered the storm through, he noticed not just one figure, but two making their way out of the storm.

The first had the second one over his shoulder, and was slowly dragging it out of the storm.

"That's..."

Not even a second after seeing this scene, Asher and Ember rushed into the snow storm without hesitation. They had found Lance.

2 days later.

"It's no good, he keeps attracting icy mana to himself unconsciously"

Inside the Naldir family's main house, Wilder, Asher, ember and the old physician they had gotten from Duan city sat, on their faces looks of worry.

Thane had pulled Lance out of the storm two days ago, but he remained unconscious due to the amount of cold his body had absorbed. In fact, they had tried to warm him up using several methods and none worked even now.

"What have you done, Escanor..."

By the side, Wilder had a look of dread, he didn't expect Escanor to go this far. He had almost killed his own son, if they didn't bring him out when they did, he would have definitely died.

"His body can't take extreme heat else his already frozen vessels will just break, and the slow methods aren't working either because he keeps attracting icy mana, this is a dilemma."

The physician was worried, unlike Laura's situation, Lance's was far more delicate, if something wasn't done, he would undoubtedly die here. It was frustrating.

"Unless....."

The physician looked over at Arian, who was standing at the far end of the room with her mask on.

'Unless what?'

Quickly catching on to what the physician had just said, Wilder spoke. They had tried so many methods, from soaked medicinal water, to directly using fire energy. However, not of these methods worked. He was beginning to feel worried.

Escanor was gone, and he was the only one who could take care of Lance. Allowing him to die a day after his dad left was completely irresponsible.

"It's too risky, and I don't know if it will work,"

The physician then went on to explain that the reason Lance wasn't able to completely unfreeze himself was because he didn't have enough internal heat. Medicine and fire could only elevate it temporarily. However, only Lance's own internal heat could stabilize itself, but he couldn't do it alone.

"He would need someone to arouse his internal heat and compliment it with theirs….this method does have a few issues, though. "

The physician paused and scanned the room, before continuing.

"Firstly, the amount of cold in his body is quite dangerous and whoever volunteers would be in serious danger, death is quite possible and…."

"I can do it."

From the side, Arian spoke up, cutting him off, she understood what the physician was saying, they required someone to have intercourse with Lance and who better than her? They had done it before, so she was no novice to lance's rode.

He was in danger, and she couldn't just seat by and watch him die. For some reason, she cared about Lance this much.

"This is also good…. only I'm not sure if you fulfil the second requirement."

The physician paused at the young lady and said.

"What requirement?" Arian asked.

"You must be a virgin"

The physician's reply stunned the whole room. A virgin? He could only get out of this by having intercourse with a virgin, which virgin would risk their selves like that? Especially when doing something they clearly had no experience with.
