Murder,not suicide?

IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Days passed.

Aiden walked with Alaric,Brian and Brion out from the school was closed for the day.Suddenly,the detective showed up.

"Aiden Elvis,I have some questions for you".

Aiden signalled his driver to follow behind as he was put into the police car and they drove away.

IN THE INTERROGATION ROOM

Aiden and the detective sat opposite,beside the table.

"You claim not to know creole,yeah?",the detective said as he placed pictures on the table.some from Alaric party and some from school

Aiden was silent and indifferent as he stared at the detective.

The detective chuckled slightly,"so we're playing this game,huh?.Where were you at 2:30 am on the day of creole's death?".

Aiden was still silent.

The detective sighed before he smacked the table,"This time I got a footage near your house,do you want to see it?".

"I just decided to take a walk at that time",Aiden said as he smiled slyly at the detective.

"A walk,I see.

Creole's death was estimated to be that time.And there is a footage of you driving your motorcycle along the school road around that time.But one thing I don't understand Is that the footages In school from that time got missing",the detective said as he glared at him.

"If you didn't understand,then how will I understand, detective?".

The chief entered the interrogation room,"Hey!,what do you think you're doing!.It was closed as a suicide!",,he yelled and the detective stood up.

Aiden stood up from his chair,sighed and sank his hands in his trouser pocket as he walked out if the interrogation room.

He was in front of the police station getting ready to enter his car as the driver opened the door.

"Mr Elvis!",the chief yelled.

Aiden turned his head to the chief as the chief ran to him.

The chief smiled,"sorry for the inconvenience,I only got the information late,that you were here".

Aiden entered the car and closed the door.

The chief knocked on his window.

Aiden lowered the glass down, he looked at the chief.

"Please,put in good words for me to Camilla",the chief said,still smiling at him.

Aiden nodded as the driver drove off.

THE NEXT DAY,AFTER SCHOOL

Brian and Alaric stood in front of Aiden's classroom as classes ended for the day.

When Aiden came out,they walked together along the hallway.Aiden in the middle of the two.

"How was it?!,what did they ask you?",Brian asked impatiently.

"No way!",Alaric wheezed,"they don't think it was you,right?".

"The detective did",Aiden said.

Alaric chuckled,"Hey son!,this is the best one.They thought you killed that bitch",he punched Aiden arm slightly.

"Where's Brion?",Aiden asked Brion after just noticing he wasn't with them.

"Transferred.my mum helped him with it.I couldn't believed they planned it long ago.He told my mum that am making his life difficult in school.She scolded me",Brian said.

"Which school!",Alaric asked.

"Uhmm,can't remember the name but it's not this state.we're far away from each other now.He'll be the one to regret his decision and crawl to me",Brian smirked.

Alaric laughed,"They'll beat him so much there".

"About creole.She killed herself,so what makes the detective think it's a murder?.Is he looking for ways to increase his salary?,",Brian asked curiously.

Aiden looked indifferent,he didn't laugh.

"The case is closed as a suicide",Aiden said.

Alaric nudged Aiden's shoulder,"Hey son,I didn't see you laugh today.Don't let that bitch death disturb you".

"Or.....,did you..?",Brian asked Aiden.

He raised an eyebrow up and glanced at Brian,"you think I killed her,don't you?".

Brian was silent for seconds before he spoke,"I don't know,man".

Aiden's driver opened the car door for him.

Aiden smirked,"It was closed as a suicide but........,it's a murder",he said as he entered the car.

Dinner was set Infront of Aiden on the dining table with a glass of wine.

He didn't start eating. He recalled when he got that prank call at Alaric's party.

He held the glass of wine and swirled it.He stared at the wine as he swirled it.

Creole on the ground in the pool of her own blood, unconscious as he stood beside her flashed through his mind immediately.

Panicky, the glass of wine fell from his hand immediately.

Miss Hailey rushed to the scene and saw the shattered glass on the floor.

She gasped,"oh dear.aiden,are you all right?".

"Yes and......,am sorry.I'll skip dinner",Aiden stuttered as he rushed upstairs to his room, panting.

He hurriedly removed his clothes and rushed to the bathroom to have a shower.

He closed his eyes under the shower as he panted.The scene of creole kept flashing through his mind.

"Just leave me alone!.leave me alone!",he yelled.

When he was done,he wiped his body with his towel and changed to a sweatsuit.

He opened his room door,ready to go out but his father was already in front if his door,about to work.

He avoided his father's eyes as he looked down,"good evening",he said.

Theo elvis entered the room and sat on the bed.

Aiden was standing do he patted the bad for him to sit.

He sat down.

"I didn't do it,if that's what you want to ask.Snd I don't care if you believe me or not.I can't say what I saw.You won't believe me anyway.

The footages from that night is missing but am sure Camila has a copy but I won't day anything.she must've seen that am not the murderer but as for why she hasn't said anything about it,she has must've her reasons",Aiden exhaled after he spoke.

Theo looked at him and sighed.He placed his hand on his shoulder,"I didn't come to ask you something,I came to tell you something.

I know it's not you.I know your grandmother has a copy.This matter is not simple, Aiden.You have to leave to sandri state tommorow",he said as he stood up.

Aiden widened his eyes,"what?!,why should I!,you said you believed me!",he yelled.

"Aiden,I believe you.As I said,this matter is not simple.I don't want you to be involved with this any longer",Theo said as he looked at Aiden.

"My friends don't even know am leaving tommorow".

"And one more thing,Aiden.From this moment on,stay away from those boys you called friends",Theo scowled.

"No!.You can't just say that and expect me to comply!",Aiden countered.

"Alaric and Brion said creole was your girlfriend,only Brian didn't say that.I got the information from the detective.

"What?",Aiden asked in disbelief.

"You'll leave tommorow.Your new school will be Lucas high.And cut off from those boys,tonight.goodnight",Theo said as he closed the door.

Aiden smiled in disbelief,"Dating creole?".
