"Lunchtime, waiting for Peter?" Robert asked. Just then, someone accidentally bumped into him while racing with a friend, not even bothering to apologize. Robert cursed under his breath, pointing and muttering curses at the person.
"He'll come on his own," Huang Kai said shortly.
After all, Peter, despite his irregular sleep schedule, or even the lack of it, strictly adhered to meal times, almost bordering on obsession, just like Robert's insistence on early bedtime and waking up.
"Huang Kai!" The familiar voice made Huang Kai turn around. It was Ming Fa, rushing over in what seemed like a hurry.
"What's up?" Huang Kai turned to ask.
"Have you seen Christine?" Ming Fa got straight to the point.
"Christine?" Robert looked confused. "Why don't you look after your woman? You even lost her."
"She's not a dog. Why should I babysit her like a pet owner? If that bitch hadn't hidden my money, making it impossible for me to buy bullets, I wouldn't have bothered finding her," Ming Fa lamented, ruffling his hair in frustration.
Hearing this, Huang Kai felt a bit helpless, and Robert couldn't help but chuckle, inwardly musing that this woman was somewhat similar to Peter in some respects.
"Ming Fa~" Christine's voice came from behind Ming Fa, and she seemed to have noticed Ming Fa's embarrassed look, her face clearly saying, "I won."
"My money?" Ming Fa cut straight to the point, not giving Christine any chance to explain.
"Oh, it's under your pillow," Christine shrugged.
"Damn it..." Ming Fa kept repeating this phrase as he stormed into his room.
"Hey, aren't you going to eat?" Peter saw Ming Fa pass by in a hurry and shouted after him, only to receive silence in response. "Well, that's rude. Oh, Huang Kai! Robert!" Peter ran towards his two friends, joining them to go to the canteen.
Christine watched the banter between the three of them, beginning to ponder if she shared similar behavior with Ming Fa.
"So, are you sure this woman is a spy?" Robert asked.
"She seems like a normal human, so it seems not," Peter shrugged.
"Huh? Really?" Robert looked a bit dumbfounded.
"Not a single word was untrue. Alright, let's not talk about this anymore. You go and help us get a plate," Peter pointed to the nearby robotic arm, with everyone queuing up to wait for it to bring the plates and collect them.
As Robert went over, Peter began whispering to Huang Kai.
"The first step of the plan was a success," Peter said with the expression of a child getting candy.
"Congratulations," Huang Kai nodded in response.
"Next up, it's this idiot spy's turn," Peter raised his head, glaring at someone, his eyes emitting countless daggers.
