I awoke just two hours later to the feel of my phone buzzing between my boobs. I didn't remember putting it there just a few hours ago because of how tired I was. I rushed to gather the fresh clothes I'd put out, and yanked them on before grabbing my bag, and rushing down the hall to the elevator. It only took a minute or so before the elevator hit the ground floor. I left the elevator, and crossed the lobby quickly.

Seven o'clock was approaching faster then I cared to mention. Instead of waiting for someone to give me a drove like the hungover idiots were doing I decided to just run since the park the dungeon was only a few blocks away from where the hotel was. They were probably only using vehicles because of the number of people that had volunteered. Besides a few blocks should be enough to finish my sprint goal for the day. Not that I knew how the extra stat points.

I made sure to brush through the forms. I didn't care all that much about it. They had a checkpoint all set up, and only people like me who had one of these packets would be able to get through. I knew I was late, but I was motivated. I'd fall asleep earlier tonight now that I was only running on about two hours of sleep.

I heard the creaking of the dungeon doors long before I saw it. I froze as a notification popped into my line of sight.

4 points have been added to speed

Newly awakened perk activated

Health being restored to 100%

Part of me wanted to drive forward, and get some quick kills, but I didn't have a weapon. I set my purse next to a lot of the random bags along the inside of the fence. My bag looked super crappy just like everything else I had so I wasn't worried about getting robbed. People started to shout battle cries as they rushed into battle with the hoard of moaning zombies. I was still super tired, but all the muscle aches, and pains were gone.

I was a bit curious what the zombies looked like, and how I could kill them. The four stat points in speed was a nice bonus, but I didn't know if the points had actually been applied to my body. I walked toward the portal slowly, and calmly. Some of the people on the front had already turned, and ran. I wasn't that surprised.

A lot of these people didn't know what it was to face death head on. They'd come here for the same reason I had, but they didn't have the stomach to see people dying. I could tell from the horrified screams that some people had died already. This was the best I'd felt in a long time. I could feel a nervous energy rising in my gut.

I wanted to test out the speed I'd gained, but rushing into a life or death situation wasn't a good plan. Some of the people that were fleeing had dropped their weapons. I wasn't skilled enough for a blade so I grabbed up a hammer. It was made out of some solid wood. I just needed to aim, and put my full strength into it.

I squared my shoulders, and headed toward the dungeon doors. I could see the very top of the doors, but I knew that the zombies would be attracted to me once I got closer. My chill pace felt as if it was faster then before, but I didn't actually feel like I was going any faster. The world around me just felt as if it were moving a little slower. The stench of death hit me long before I saw my first zombie.

He stopped caring about the person he was chasing, and changed direction to head my way. I raised the hammer up, and slammed it down on the zombies arms as he reached for me. They weren't very fast so I didn't know why everybody was in such a panic. The zombies arm cracked, and broke away from the body. My next strike was a backhanded one.

It didn't matter that I didn't put my full force behind it. The hammer seemed to put it's own force into it. Although it did resist being used to attack. It seemed it wasn't meant to be used for attacks. Although that was just a feeling I got from the hammer.

I wanted to get another better suited weapon.

"I'm sorry little hammer," I kept striding forward, "I'm not a crafty person so you, and I aren't really a good match. I won't keep you any longer then I have to."

I could feel the hammer's power start flowing into me. This was a strong weapon. I imagined that this hammer would be even more useful when used for crafting. That was only the first of many zombies that were headed my direction. I swung the hammer in a wide ark from my right to the left.

I hit two zombies with the one strike. The blow carried a lot more force then when the hammer was fighting me. The two zombies were blown back, and one was killed. The other was mangled.

I didn't have time to think about what I was going to do with the points. The zombies around me went from the one mangled one to over ten really quickly. The trees stopped me from seeing all the zombies around me, but I knew that this was partially the fault of my five star class. It would only get worse from here. I slammed the hammer into another zombie as the group got closer.

The force the hammer released was enough to take out another while throwing the second one that got caught in the blow.
