Do You Understand

"Enough! Now do not say things like whether I should be concerned or not," Wen Han said as he approached Yu Xi step by step.

The young woman had no way to retreat and could only lean her back against the hard wall after taking a few steps back to create some distance from the young man in front of her.

"You…"

This one word trailed off from Yu Xi's lips.

Wen Han looked at the wounds from Yu Xi's hands, and his mind combined this matter with how the young woman treated him with indifference once she had entered the main company.

"Have you been bullied?" Wen Han's voice could not help but soften.

Yu Xi's eyelashes trembled, her eyes glazed over, and she answered, her tone sounding a little flustered, "I... I have not."

It was obvious that this was a lie.

Wen Han ignored Yu Xi's false answer and asked, "Are you afraid that you will bring me trouble?"

Yu Xi immediately shook her head and refuted, "No." As if she thought that this answer was not enough to convince the young man in front of her, she continued saying, "I really do not."

Seeing the anxiety in Yu Xi's eyes that she had deliberately suppressed, Wen Han breathed a sigh of relief, and he even felt a little happy.

There was a complex look in the young man's eyes as he looked at Yu Xi.

Yu Xi was bullied and had to carry it on her own, and she was afraid that speaking out about her relationship with him would have an impact on both her and him.

It turns out that Yu Xi is still the same as she was when she was a child.

Yu Xi is a stubborn person. She is so stubborn about things like this; she is so stubborn about not wanting to make people worry that it makes people feel distressed.

Although Wen Han had already guessed the reason, he still wanted to ask Yu Xi. He wanted to hear her words; he wanted to hear her answer with his own two ears.

"Then why are you avoiding me?" Wen Han asked.

"I did not," Yu Xi replied with evasive eyes.

"If you do not tell me your reason, then I will not let go of you today." Wen Han caged his two hands on the wall beside Yu Xi's ears, imprisoning the young woman in between his arms.

"Why do you..." Yu Xi had just spoken a few words before she was immediately cut off by the young man in front of her.

"Say it quickly," Wen Han persisted with his stance.

"You…" Yu Xi was now at a loss for words.

"Say it quickly," Wen Han repeated. "Answer me."

Yu Xi lowered her head, and the scene came to a standstill.

The silence was deafening in the empty hallway, but Wen Han looked very patient, as if he could keep waiting for Yu Xi for a very long time just to receive an answer to his question.

A long time had passed, and under such pressure, Yu Xi suddenly raised her head.

"Do you really want to hear it?" Yu Xi asked as if she wanted to confirm something.

Wen Han nodded.

Seeing this nod, Yu Xi's eyes turned determined, as if she had made an important decision in her heart.

Although he could already guess Yu Xi's current situation and the circumstances that she may have faced, he still wanted to hear Yu Xi say it herself.

However, the answer that Wen Han received was not the answer he had in mind.

The answer that he received was nothing more than a passionate and tangled kiss.

Yu Xi did not give Wen Han any time to react, and her flexible tongue penetrated into his open lips.

Wen Han was so shocked that he did not close his mouth, giving Yu Xi an opportunity to break in.

The silky tongue swept in and glided around, causing a tingling sensation to spread all over his body.

After the kiss, Yu Xi left Wen Han's lips, pulling out a piece of silver thread, which looked extremely ambiguous and alluring.

Yu Xi was breathing heavily, and there was still crystal liquid on her red lips. She opened her red lips lightly and asked in a seductively panting voice, "So, do you understand?"
