The Intense Battle

(Whenever Arplesis is mentioned in dialogues or action scenes from here onwards, it will be the name of the robot unless it's specified that it's the organization.)

BOOM!

With each step, the humungous robot left craters of shattered rubble in its wake. The colossal arms, when in motion, created a significant pressure difference in the atmosphere, contributing to the destruction.

Upon reaching Saitama, it jumped upward to charge its punch, but suddenly, its entire body halted as if its power had run out.

The crimson mist trailing the robot dissipated into nothingness. Its once-proactive face, filled with anger and fury, now appeared plain and dull.

"X001, thank you for activating the robotic parts that we installed in your body," Marcus materialized behind the giant robot. "The robot Arplesis requires a massive amount of magic power that you've exhausted, but don't worry, I'll take over from this point forward."

Marcus moved his hand toward the robot and declared before touching it, "You will always be remembered as a great hero in Arplesis and the new world that we'll create."

FLASH!

The moment Marcus touched the robot, the area where he made contact began to glow brightly in yellow. Immediately afterward, Marcus vanished into thin air, and the colossal robot was enveloped in a bright yellow hue.

"With the immense power that I've started to pour into Arplesis, this planet will not be able to withstand its force. So, let's take our fight to the endless dark void of space, shall we?" The robot explained, and in an instant, it disappeared along with Saitama. After a moment, both of them reappeared in the dark void, where darkness ruled. With each passing moment, the blinding yellow light emanating from Arplesis continued to intensify.

"Activate Virtual atmosphere. Activate fusion, target Magneton. One second remaining," the robot murmured.

KABOOM!

A loud explosion echoed throughout the newly created atmosphere.

After a few moments, it revealed the redesigned robot. It closely resembled Marcus in terms of upper-body structure, while its lower body retained similarities to Magneton's, with a yellow mist enveloping its form.

"Thank you for waiting, mister," Arplesis spoke loudly. "Without keeping you waiting any longer, let's start our battle."

Within the blink of an eye, Arplesis vanished from Saitama's sight, reappearing behind Saitama with its punch directly aimed at Saitama.

BLAST!

The punch sent Saitama flying for a few miles while the force continued to develop uncountable shockwaves. However, this punch was a mere start.

As Saitama flew at the speed of sound, Arplesis immediately teleported to his right, throwing yet another powerful punch at his head.

The strike again created immense shockwaves and generated fluctuations in the virtually-created atmosphere. The air pressure continuously intensified, and the new shockwaves clashed with the previous incoming ones to create even bigger shockwaves with double the power. Saitama continued to fly but in the right direction.

Teleporting again before Saitama, Arplesis launched another destructive punch at Saitama's torso, tripling his flying speed.

But as Arplesis prepared for another teleport, Saitama instantly appeared before its face, his fists ready to pay back the damage.

BOOM!

Arplesis was sent flying at the speed of light, leaving a yellow trail in its wake. A meteor, roughly the size of Earth and situated several thousand miles away from the battle, began to crumble and eventually burst into countless pieces.

The immense shockwaves, generated by the unimaginable forces at play, spread rapidly through space.

Continuing the attack, Saitama teleported behind Arplesis and launched another punch, sending it back to where it started.

However, the robot instantly teleported back to Saitama, this time, its fist covered in a yellow light.

"I thought I could end you without having to use magic, but you proved me wrong," Arplesis muttered as its massive fist reached the tip of Saitama's body.

BLAST!

A force capable of destroying the entire planet of Kerbes emerged, sending shockwaves rippling into the endless void. The sound of the explosion was enough not only to end a person's life but also to utterly obliterate their existence.

As Saitama fell downwards due to the pressure of the force, Arplesis leaped towards him at the speed of light to unleash its barrage of magical punches.

In response to Arplesis's leap, Saitama jumped towards him to counter its attacks with his own. As soon as their fists collided, countless duplicates of Arplesis materialized around them, encasing them in a circle.

With the collision of their second punch, five of the copies leaped towards Saitama, their fists and feet wrapped in a bright yellow light.

However, the force generated from the two collisions melted the copies before they could reach Saitama.

As their strikes continued to collide, more and more clones of Arplesis evaporated, rendering them useless. Upon noticing the failure of its plan, all the copies suddenly disappeared, and Arplesis retreated.

"Now I'm not sure if you're using magic or not," Arplesis spoke nervously. "Surviving so many of my magical punches is not something a tiny body like yours can handle."

"Everyone I met so far keeps asking me the same thing," Saitama murmured, his detailed, darkened face looking downwards. "What is this magic?"

After a moment of silence, Arplesis started to laugh. "Being able to withstand my powerful punches without even understanding what magic is? That's ridiculous!"

"Well then, I'll tell you what magic is all about." Spheres of fire began to form around Arplesis as it continued to explain. "It's the very power that creates the entire universe. It's the force through which everything is made. It's the energy that we sapohumans call atoms."

With a wide grin on its face, Arplesis shouted. "And what you've tasted is just one percent of magic. Let me carve the remaining ninety-nine percent into your soul!"

The fireballs launched at Saitama with the speed of sound. The temperature in a few hundred miles rose by a hundred degrees Celsius. The air around the fireballs became distorted as if the entire atmosphere around them was ablaze.

"Let the destruction begin!" Arplesis roared as it started to laugh heniously.
