The Beginning of the End (1)

A few moments passed, and Arplesis abruptly stopped. It straightened its posture and fixed its gaze on the incoming enemy, Saitama.

"You caught me off-guard," Arplesis teleported to Saitama's right. "I guess you'll eventually force me to go full power." Before its sentence could end, Saitama followed Arplesis's teleport by leaping towards it at an indistinguishable speed. However, Arplesis moved out of Saitama's way just in time, as if it knew his next move.

Teleporting to his left, Arplesis smirked. "I haven't seen you talk for quite a while now. Are you afraid? Well, if you are, then I'm sorry because you're way too predictable, given that you have no magic."

In a swift response, Saitama remained silent and immediately leaped towards Arplesis, his clenched fist directly aimed at its gigantic robotic head. As soon as Saitama reached Arplesis, it instantly retaliated. Its giant, fuming right hand enveloped Saitama's tiny fist.

"I'll get serious only if you do, mister," Arplesis smiled, its arms starting to glow brightly.

Saitama suddenly started to laugh. "All this time that I've spent fighting you, I realized something."

Arplesis curled one of its eyebrows. "What?"

"The pain that your organization had given to people like me," Saitama slowly raised the volume of his low-pitched voice. "The pain of a man fighting with ladies in a supermarket with heavy discounts. The pain of separating this world from the taste of potatoes."

Saitama's expression darkened as he continued, "I asked Genos to handle the 90% off sale at the supermarket in case I overslept, but this guy named Zamneton popped out of nowhere and destroyed Earth."

"Do you know how frustrating it is?" Saitama shouted. "The smell of your magic makes me remember the taste of potatoes, and it forces me to relive the agony of missing my 90% sale. DO YOU KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING THAT IS?"

After a brief pause, Arplesis immediately burst into laughter. "Is there something wrong with your brain? I thought you were finally getting cautious and serious, but that's what you've been thinking? Stop your nonsense!"

As soon as Arplesis finished, Saitama swiftly drew his right arm back with unimaginable force, delivering a devastating punch that shattered Arplesis's arm. Immediately afterward, he teleported in front of Arplesis's torso and delivered a punch using his other arm.

KABOOM!

The sound reverberated in the atmosphere as countless shockwaves ran throughout Arplesis's unprotected body, systematically disintegrating it from the inside, atom by atom. Arplesis's eyes dilated, its entire torso evaporated, and its remaining arm caught fire.

However, it all seemed to be an illusion as Arplesis appeared behind Saitama, chuckling. "See? You can't beat me, so accept it."

As soon as Saitama heard Arplesis's voice, he quickly turned around and delivered a galaxy-shaking punch.

The strike completely annihilated the virtual atmosphere created by Arplesis, and its shockwaves expanded through the void. The new shockwaves immediately caught up to the earlier ones, which had been traveling in the black void.

As they neared a solar system thousands of miles away, they obliterated it from its very core.

However, Arplesis disappeared just before the immense force could touch it.

"I just sensed destruction," Arplesis grinned, reappearing near Saitama. "As your punches are so powerful and devastating, how can I hold back?"

Suddenly, Arplesis started to glow brightly in yellow. Its body began to grow, and the pressure around it intensified. Bolts of lightning emerged out of its body, gushing in all directions.

The shockwaves created by Saitama evaporated as soon as they came in contact with the newly formed lightning.

Spears, bows, and swords materialized out of nowhere, covering the dark void with weapons.

As Saitama noticed the developments happening in the surroundings, Arplesis charged at his unguarded self, its electrical fist ready to crush Saitama's bones.

BOOM!

Saitama countered the strike with his punch, unleashing a force that eradicated the dominating lightning. The impact caused Saitama to decelerate to the speed of light as Arplesis flew to the opposite side. However, both of them quickly took hold of themselves and leaped towards each other for another electrifying punch.

GRRR!

Red and yellow sparks lit up on impact, turning the void into a mix of crimson and yellow. The space took on a spooky vibe, like a territory ruled by vampires, a place where hunting and being hunted were the norm.

Within the blink of an eye, both of them teleported to their left, discharging yet another blow, generating a never-ending set of shockwaves. Immediately afterwards, they continued to teleport all over the visible void at the speed of a billion miles per second!

KABOOM!

WHOOSH!

WHAM!

Destruction followed their trails. Several asteroids and meteoroids ceased to exist, several planets as big as Jupiter turned to dust, and several giant stars burst into pieces to create black holes that further continued the obliteration. The entire galaxy was shaking and gradually evaporating.

After a few moments, Arplesis abruptly stopped and roared. "I'm not done yet! This much is not enough! MAGNETON GIVE ME ALL OF YOUR POWER!"

BSHOOM!

Suddenly, the entire void fell silent; all the various colors vanished, and a thin black layer of mist formed around Arplesis's body.

Several colossal orbs, each ten times the size of the Sun and composed of diverse elements like fire, water, and ice, materialized around Saitama. Their abundance was so immense that, from the perspective of a passing alien, the entire galaxy appeared cloaked in these orbs, leaving not a single centimeter of space unoccupied.

"For the sake of Kerbes, even if I have to blow up this entire lifeless galaxy, I'm all up for it!" Arplesis howled as the orbs expanded.

In the blink of an eye, each orb forcefully merged with the others, unleashing a blast that shattered the very fabric of the world's physics. This explosion surpassed the scale of even nuclear weapons, making them seem like child's play.

Its shockwaves were so immense and extraordinarily powerful that ten nearby galaxies, located about a trillion miles away, were reduced to non-existence.
