Chapter twenty-three

"Jisung, it's midday. Better if we'd already gone to the hideout" Damn, I totally forgot that it was that day...

"'Kay, Lix." After changing their clothes the two left the locker room, while walking through the hallway something occurred to Jisung, "Lix?"

"Mhm," the other responds with a hum.

"Can we get something to eat at the cafeteria before we leave?" Jisung asks, almost whining.

"But Via already bought food for the day," Felix answers, now looking at the male walking beside him.

"I know she did, but it's fish-stick Friday!! Come on, please, Lixie," Jisung says, literally whining this time.

"Ugh. Fine. Go get your fish sticks."

"THANK YOU, LIXIE!" Jisung says while kissing both Felix's cheeks, "You're the best alpha out there." Felix simply rolls his eyes at that, knowing that the other was saying this purely to butter up. 

Felix was already walking towards the exit while scrolling through social media. As he almost got out of the building he saw someone familiar standing by the entrance.

"Hey, Minnie, I wasn't expecting you here." He says finally granting Seungmin a glance. "Yea...I thought I could come to pick you and Jisung hyung up. Since you weren't feeling too well." The younger one tries to explain.

"Ok, Jisung is in the cafeteria. He'll come out in a sec I guess." Felix says.

"I'M READY," Jisung yells, a couple of minutes later while leaving the building, and he too stopped walking when he saw the duo standing before him.

"Minnie, what are you doing here? OMG! DO YOU WANT FISH STICKS TOO?" he asks while jogging towards the two of them.

"Of course not, Ji," Felix answers instead of Seungmin, "he came to give us a ride. Since we're not feeling too well. Or, that's what he said at least."

Jisung looks at the boys and then walks past them, towards the parking lot. Felix looks back at the boys before following Jisung. "Seungmin," he asks, "aren't you gonna come too?" Seungmin looks at the two boys, when he sees Hyunjin nod, he nods back and leaves with a rather sad smile.

As he gets to the car, he sees the two friends sitting in the backseat and sits down behind the steering wheel.

When Seungmin looks in the rear-view mirror, he sees Jisung on his phone with a box on his lap and Felix looking back at him through the mirror. He immediately puts the key, somewhat clumsily, into the car and starts the engine, and not a moment later they are driving away from the campus.

"Can you put on the music, Minnie?" Jisung asks after a couple of minutes. Seungmin immediately nods and turns on the radio, when he looks in the mirror again he sees Felix looking back, smiling.

"Minnie, I hope you didn't wait too long for us," he says

"No, I had just arrived".

Before he knew it, they got to their apartment. "Minnie, you can leave first and help Via with getting everything ready. Ji and I'll get what we need and follow, it's just a fifteen-minute walk from here anyway."

"Okay, see you there!"

"Bye, Minnie!" The two say in unison, before entering their apartment building.

As they open the door, Felix tells Jisung to take only what is necessary, as they will only be there for one day. And mostly, he doesn't want Jisung to break one of their things on his first full moon.

Felix sees Jisung walk in and out of their bedroom and leaves the apartment in a matter of seconds. "I don't think I'll need anything other than my phone, see you downstairs Lix," he hears Jisung say in a hurry while leaving the apartment.

Is it just me or are all my betas acting suspiciously today...

Once they get to the hideout, Felix divides all of them into separate rooms, wanting to give them their own personal space tonight. Except, he and Jisung shared the living room.

It's not that he doesn't want to give Jisung his space or that he doesn't trust him, he's just scared about how that'll work out since the other boy had already had minor changes before his first full moon.

The house had beautiful big windows at the back side of it, which let all the moonlight inside.

Just as Felix starts to feel that familiar piquant feeling, he hears Jisung groaning, falling to the ground and later even screaming in pain.

"Yes, I'm sure they won't be back until tomorrow afternoon because Felix left a note."

"So since you're home alone, can we come over?" The person on the other side of the line asks

"I told you I wanted to study and practice dancing today. Oh I think I hear someone at the door. Talk to you later."

"Jisung? Ji, where are you?" Felix said after coming back from the toilet.

"Guys!! Jisung's gone!" he said once he saw the door open.
