Convincing and the first step (revised)

Amelia went downstairs with slightly nervous expressions. Anyone who might undergoes such huge changes would obviously be worried of others being suspicious of them, but the maid and other staff members looked at her with only slightly surprised expressions and nothing else.

She asked nervously: "Is there something wrong?"

"Miss, you look very beautiful today. Don't get me wrong, I mean you are always beautiful. It's today you look more beautiful than before."

Seeing that they didn't notice anything special, she breathed with a slight relief. It seems that her past self must have been quite rude and arrogant otherwise they must not be that flustered when talking to her. Grandfather was not present today at lunch as he went to his friends house, So she did the lunch alone.

After lunch, Amy began to think about the future plans as how to convince grandpa to let her act because at present, he is her legal guardian until she comes of age, and from the past few days what she has observed, it seems that James Collins doesn't like entertainment industry. So convincing him might a difficult task.

After making some preparations, when she met grandpa at the dinner, he looked surprised and commented:

" you look more beautiful today "

She replied slightly: "Thank you."

After that they did their dinner, James seemed to have found that Amy was looking at him from time to time, so he asked her lightly :

"Amy, Is there something wrong, Do you have something to tell me? "

"I want to pursue acting grandpa, and want to make my career in it."

He seemed to be taken aback by the words and replied angerly :

"I asked you to think about your future, not

to make such ridiculous jokes. What kind of bad joke is this. Don't even think about it and look for something serious."

Amy lost her next sentence at his words, he just seems to have abused my passion and dreams without even thinking about it and she also became angry :

"Then don't give permission. Anyway I will be adult in two years at most, then I will do it either way."

After it, Amy stopped eating and ran upstairs angerly, he seems to be calling her from behind but she didn't listen to it and ran upstairs and locked the door of her room.

For the next few day, Amy had her food in her own room and didn't step out of the room and he also didn't call her.

After 3-4 days, he came to Amy's room. Amy opener the door for him, he entered and sat on the sofa. She also sat opposite to him. It seems that he wanted to say something to Amy. He looked at her for a while and said :

"Have you really decided to pursue acting as your career. You may not know but its very dangerous especially for women. The more glamorous it looks from outside, the more disgusting it is from inside."

Amy knows what he's trying to say and he is not wrong because Vanity fair is really a place full of disgust and flith. But it is also a place where millions of people chase their dreams and she is also one of them. Amy replied to him : "I know but I will face it and endure it."

He seemed surprised by the words but then replied :

"If this is really what you want, then go do it. But remember some things can never be allowed no matter what."

She knew what he was talking about and replied to him:

"l know the bottom line grandpa and I will never cross it."

After hearing her words, he nodded and stood up and went back to his room. After he left, Amy slumped on the sofa. At least, one difficult task has been completed, Now lets prepare for the next upcoming things.

Here Amy was in her thoughts and another person was listening to the report from his assistant at the top presidential floor of Collin Corporations.

"Sir this is reported from the house in LA and your niece seems to be preparing to pursue acting career. She has took permission from the Mr. Collins senior."

"She is really like her naive stupid father. Always thinking about pursuing these ridiculous dreams and fantasies. Let her taste this bitter medicine. She will soon come to her senses by herself. Just keep a little eye on her but there is no need to give any kind of assistance. Anyway, we don't have much of the industry contacts." Thomas Collins said to his assistant. His tone was nostalgic when talking about his younger brother but immediately his voice changed to indifference along with his expressions.

"Ok sir, I shall keep people in the house continue observing Miss Amelia and will report you from time to time." the assistant replied.

Thomas nodded and sent the assistant away.
