Shooting

Two days later Amy signed the legal contract regarding the movie as both an actress and an investor. She will not get any pay from the movie and her salary will be converted into box office share and DVD shares along with her investment.She invested 1 million dollars in the movie as it is about half of the total budget.

All the other actors were also auditioned and signed and from what she thinks, majority of them are the same as she remembers. She met the lead actor Guy Pearce who has acted previously in the famous "L.A Confidential". For the filming, Amy had to dye her hair black and she did it happily without any refusal.

The shooting location was finalized as house in Burbank, Los Angeles. All the film crew was selected. Nolan really proved himself to be a dedicated director. He was really different from his usual self outside the studio. He wants everything perfect according to his demands. He also sometimes acted harshly on even Amy but compared to others, it was still good.

The filming started at the start of June and the filming process was intense and hard. There were many times when Amy was exhausted but she didn't say anything and today was another day. The movie "Memento" is a good movie but on actors, there is not much pressure as the real magic of the movie lies in Director's shooting techniques.

Amy was sitting in a separate room after today's shooting. It has been more than 15 days since the shootig started and the movie is more than half shot. This speed is really fast.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Richard came inside. He sat beside Amy on the couch and closed his eyes for rest. He has worked really hard these days. As producers also have to sell their movie, so there is no way that those sharks will make any loss making buisnsss. And he think that at this stage, he is still capable of protectimg Amy for now. So he said :

" Well, I got a call from Alan Sarde. He told me that the new project he was talking about is in preparatory stage and he showed the studio your profile and many people liked your photos, but they still have to do an audition before finalizing the matter. You can also finish your work on the "Memento" set till then. The script will be delivered in 3-4 days so that you can prepare for the audition although it is a commercial movie. "

Amy nodded at this and focused herself on her current role. The next day, shooting started as regular, Amy stuck many times with her role but was patiently guided by Chris and he treated her patiently and not in his shouting tone he used with others and herself in the past. She thought that he was good to her as she is the investor of the movie and others also thought the same. Although Jorja, her co-actress who played as Leonard's ex-wife teased her but she was not serious and her tone was also joking.

During the film scene, when Leonard was talking with Natalie on a dining table, suddenly the knife placed on the table dropped and hit directly Amy's foot and there was a cut and foot started to bleed.

" Cut... Cut.. Stop the shooting. " Chris Nolan shouted and stood up from his seat and ran to Amy and bent down to stop the bleeding with his hand. Pearce who was with Amy immediately took the tissue and put it on her cut. Other members also gathered.

" Take Amy inside and I will call the doctor."

Chris said to the female staff and stood up to call the doctor. The doctor arrived in 10 minutes and checked the wound. He treated it and closed it with a gauze. He said to Chris:

Amy wanted to say that she could continue but Chris immediately interrupted her words and said to the doctor. After that he asked the staff member to lead the doctor outside.
