Chapter 44

Luke was handed a crystal. He looks at the headteacher in confusion. "What am I meant to do with this?" he asked.

"That shows what weapon suits you the best," the man said. "Once your weapon is tested we will run through a quick training obstacle course."

"That's fine," Luke said nodding. The weapon began to take form. It was first shaped into a gun then a sword, then a scythe before returning the crystal.

"That is unusual," the man said.

"It's fine, I prefer fighting with my fists anyway," Luke said raising his clenched fist.

The man raised an eyebrow. "Fine whatever you say," he said. "Follow me."

They were led to an area. Unbeknownst to them, they were being followed. "Why are we doing this?" the student from the mathematics department, Richard, said fearfully.

His friends looked at him blankly. "She probably wants to check out our department to teach us."
