Chapter 26 - Despair

First of all, if you want to know why they are approaching that place then they want to know if those humans are present in that place or not. They needed help right now to face those Monsters that were chasing after him.

In one word you can say those humans just died while fighting those Monsters and right now those Monsters are using their body parts as a sign of their victory.

They instantly get scared the moment they see this. They already lost the hope of surviving in that place. Also, those goblins that previously enjoyed the victory over those humans already notice them and they already throw the body parts of the humans into the ground.

They begin to approach those 5 Guardians while those other goblins already come close to those five guardians that were previously chasing them. Now from front and back naturally those 5 guardians got surrounded by the goblins. Both their left and right sides are surrounded by big rock walls so naturally they cannot escape from those directions.

When they observe the surroundings they become surprised as they can see most of the goblins at this time already fall on the ground. Also, those remaining goblins became seriously injured somehow and that is completely unexpected for anyone.

But you can say they did not think that much in a time like this and after looking at the scene somehow they once again get the willpower to fight back and instantly begin to go toward those Monsters that are in front of them.

All those goblins that try to attack them from behind have already been killed. Naturally, those Monsters that try to attack them from the front side also get killed but not every one of them gets killed. On the other hand, those 5 guardians already knew most likely some unknown Guardian was helping them in the situation.

Unfortunately, they did not see anyone present in that place but still, after killing those Monsters, they will try to search for that guardian. Before anything right now they naturally wanted to kill those remaining goblins.

Those remaining 3 guardians or you can say close combat fighters did not waste a single second and instantly began to attack those other Monsters from the front side. As they expected, because those Monsters became seriously injured they were unable to fight back that much and they were bleeding continuously.

Finally, those Guardians relaxed a little. But they instantly begin to search for a safe place to rest. Before anything they need to recover The lost Zen energy and their health. Right now if this fight once again those goblins then they won't be able to fight back that much. All this time you can say while they are searching for a good place to rest they are also looking around to find the guardian who helped them.

Fortunately, it was a completely normal cave and did not have any type of secret hole or something like that. Naturally Zero began to use the Energy recovery technique. On the other hand, he was also very alert about the surrounding area.

It is a good thing for him that all this time when he is recovering his energy no Monster tries to attack him from behind or from the front side. So with that, he can already recover his full energy without facing any Monsters.

He instantly begins to look outside to see what happened and at that time he can see something that makes him very angry. Outside of the cave, he can see ten Guardians get killed by those goblins while those goblins take their body parts as a sign of victory.

Naturally after seeing all of this Zero just thought about killing those Monsters when something unexpected happened once again. You can say he was just about to use his attack but before he could do that he saw more Guardians coming to that place.

At first, Zero thought those guardians also came here to see what happened but then he realized most likely those Guardians not only came here to see what happened but also came here to get help. Instead of getting angry, they begin to panic and most likely lose the willpower to fight back after watching the scene.
