Facing a Critical Patient

"Grandpa, what are you doing? Why are you pensive?" 

Nalini was suddenly in front of the senior physician. She asked while leaning in. 

Wira Usada was startled. The old man immediately refocused on their work. He didn't answer Nalini's question, just shook his head. "It's okay, let's just get this job done."

Nalini deftly served and examined the patients who came one after another to the treatment center. Nalini saw that the patients in this new place were not as many as in the first place. However, they were people who were suffering from much more severe illnesses. 

Several times Nalini felt overwhelmed because she had only encountered symptoms of a very severe illness once. 

Patients came in already unconscious or very weak. Seeing Nalini in panic and confusion, Wira Usada approached her.
