Then, a week later. He was nearing the end of his challenge. The closest he had got was the early nine thousands but he was determined to get it. He was still on his run, but Velios knew he could do it. He just knew, somehow. Now at the end of the week, his body was completely depleted. He had not had anything to eat in the last week which severely affected his self healing. All the fatigue was building up, he was used to living with pain, but after you stop completely, that's when you won't be able to move. According to Velios, he doesn't even know if he has gone to sleep or not, because everything he has been doing is exhausting himself by either training or drinking a shit ton of river water. He may as well have fallen asleep doing handstand pushups or punching a tree and he wouldn't even know it. He guessed that if he were to fall asleep, then he would probably dream about training in the same way to.

He was close to the end of the sprint session. His staminas stats had gone through the roof but the amount of exhaustion he actually had from running was nothing short of utterly painful and tedious. At this current point, all he could think about was doing the handstand pushups and to finally be done with it. He wouldn't really say he was tired of training because that's just not like him. But more so that he wants to feel the happiness and especially the fear of not doing it coming to an end. He was done with the sprinting, now everything that was left that still stood in the way was the tree, and not just any tree. The biggest in the area of the trees he had taken down. Velios had specifically saved that tree for last. He was now ready to take it down. The tree was the thickest of them all, he hadn't even come close in thickness to the other ones he broke when comparing it to what he stood in front of. He tried to hug the tree but his arms didn't even go to the halfway line of the tree. How long would it take Velios to take down something like that?

Velios got right into the point, he kicked the tree as hard and as fast as possible. The kick was so quick you could barely see it. The only thing that was shown was the tree shaking, but the only actual damage done was a little dent in the tree where he hit it. It would already prove to be the hardest tree to take down. If he hadn't improved his speed at all, even with his current strength, it would probably still take around an hour for a singular tree. But one of the reasons he had become so quick at destroying the trees was because he had become faster at everything. He didn't know if he was one of the weakest or strongest in this new world. Since he didn't know, you could say that he was neither and both. That wasn't his only motivation, but it was enough knowing that he could be far behind the masses of people.

He kept on punching and kicking the tree, everything at the exact same y axis. The exact same height so that he could do it the quickest. His attention to detail never seemed to fail him after all. He then spent half an hour, before the tree had the smallest bit of support left but it still took him three hits. The fatigue that he had built up at that point seemed to slowly come back and haunt him. But he had no choice but to continue onwards to the handstand pushups that he was certain he could finish for once. So he got up in position and then he started, speed would be his biggest ally in his challenge since he could pump out the most amount of repetitions that way. So it was a great start for Velios and after a while he had passed the one thousand mark with much less difficulty compared to a week ago. He continued with spirits high, he may have started slowing down but it wouldn't become truly difficult before the eight thousand mark. A while later, the ground was completely covered in sweat. Velios was literally shining due to all of the sweat he was producing. His black, messy hair wasn't in his face despite the length of it.

He had finally come so close, he had reached nine thousand and nine hundred handstand pushups. All he needed now was to finish the last hundred, despite all his pain and fatigue. He was pushing himself far above his limits by continuing, he hadn't pushed himself that hard since running his sub 3 hour marathon in the mountain ranges of Canada. He had now reached the final ten remaining handstand pushups. His whole body was shaking and he barely knew if he had the strength to do it. But he knew he had to, he's pushed himself to the point where there is no return due to exhaustion if he were to fail. He spent at least ten seconds just barely pushing his head off the ground, he now only has nine more to go.

The rest of the continuing ones where about the same in difficulty until he came to his nine thousand nine hundred and ninety sixth. Both Velios' triceps and shoulders started cramping really hard. He spent a solid twenty seconds going up and down while barely finishing that rep. He now had three more of them to go and the cramp wouldn't seem to go away. He spent another twenty seconds at least battling his way up, Velios' teeth were biting hard into each other, his vision started becoming a little blurry. He now only had three more to do, he started battling his way, on the verge of screaming.

His vision started getting even more blurry, his muscles cramping even more and all the fatigue from the past week was the thing he had to win over to finish this challenge. He was halfway up on his rep, he started going both up and down with only small differences, but Velios couldn't seem to push any further. At that point, his vision had seemed to go completely blurry, it was as if it decided to shut down and before he knew it, he had passed out. He slowly fell forwards landing on his back. He was out cold and what would seem to not be for only a short while. After he could no longer continue, he had only managed to complete 9997.5 handstand pushups, two and a half away from his goal.
