Negotiations

The little bell at the top of the door could be heard across the little shop as a familiar figure walked in through the door. The sound of metal getting hit was heard further back in the store. The shop itself was a pretty open space with a bunch of different weapons and equipments were hanging on the walls to the side. The store was lightly lit and most of the light came from the windows. "Hey! Is anybody here?" Velios moved his head to try and find anyone but couldn't. The sound from the metal in the back had dissapeared and a man walking out with a hammer in his hand was seen shortly after. The man looked at him confused, wondering what a dirty, tired guy did in his store since it looked like he didn't want to buy anything. "Hey, kid, do you want to buy anything or what is it that you want? I don't think you've got the right place, the adventurers guild is a few blocks down." Velios looked at the clothes he was wearing, dirty, muddy and worn. "Oh, no no, I only came here because I was going to go meet my friend today and I heard that he was here not a long while ago. He's about, this long, and I think that he was wearing a hood." As he was talking he made gestures with his hand and showed the person working there about what he looked like. "Oh, that young lad. Yeah, he was not here long ago. He placed an order on a custom sword which he will be back for eventually. I heard him say that he was going to the adventurers guild for an "errand" or something so I don't know If he is still there, but have fun looking for him."

The adventurers guild were the same as it always was. Most people were lively but you couldn't help but notice the utterly devestation on some of the peoples faces. It wasn't that uncommon to hear that people have died. It was almost as if the game was undergoing some eradication of all the weak people who didn't have it in them to survive this new, harsh and unpredictable envirement, but for those people that have lost people close to them, it must hurt. Velios kept starring at all the people around him while thinking thoughts similar to that. Some things that Velios had learned was compassion and empathy and atleast enough to look like an ordinary human. "Hello sir, what can we do for you today?" Velios turned his glance over to the receptionist, a familiar face, one of the people that had helped him when he was injured. "Hello, have you seen a person wearing a similar hood to mine, a little shorter and in better clothes around here?" The receptionist looked a little shocked from the sudden question and instead turned around looking at a staircase leading up to a door on the second floor. She slowly turned her face back and sighed. "The head of this adventurers guild is currently talking to the guy that you are seeking, I heard that it is pretty important but I guess that it Shouldn't be a problem if you're well acquainted already. If you don't mind, follow me up these stairs."

"You know, Suya, I know that you have helped us greatly this week but-" His speech was cut sort by the opening of the door. The door itself was smooth and made no noise but the conversation they had would preferibly be held private, atleast that's what the head of this guild wanted. "Sorry for the interruption, sir, but an acquaintance of the man you are speaking to right now has arrived. He apperantly only wanted to meet him so I'm just here to tell you and inform you about it." He looked at the man who had just entered the room. Also clad in a similar hood, his face was also well hidden as no distinctive features could be seen except for his overgrown black hair. "Cherryl, you might aswell stay for this conversation. It's not like I wasn't going to tell you." The room turned quite and Velios only looked around for a quick second before anything was said. "This young man has been hiding his face under the hood for a reason. I think that it is a little bit sad to let such a young and talented adventurer go, but we do not allow criminals to work for us, as such, I will terminate your adventurer guild license and if you have any objections, I would be willing to listen to them, Yotsuya." The room had turned silent yet again, the head of the place was frustrated and Cherryl was shocked. Under the hood, Velios was laughing? "Yotsuya, how did you already sell out yourself! I was barely gone for a week and I trusted that you would be able to take care of yourself." He couldn't stop himself from laughing even as he spoke. "Right, even though I did laugh. I would like to object the termination of Yotsuya's adventurer guild liscense."

The head of the place looked at him confused. "You're not even the person being affected by any of this so why does this matter to you? What are you going to do to revoke my decision?" Velios pulled down his hood, revealing what first looked like a kind face with a smile spread across it. "Your reason for the termination of his license is because he's a criminal, correct?" Velios asked kindly. "Yes, that is the reason for it. Are you telling me that he didn't do it? That he didn't kill those people?" He looked even more confused and even a little bit frustrated. "He's not guilty, it was only by coincidence that he looked guilty. No one actually saw or have any proof that he did it." The guy sitting infront of Velios was even more frustrated. "Listen here, brat, I've already made my decision so stop wasting everyone's time so that we can-" Without getting to finish his sentence, it was cut short from a bone-chilling set of words that made his entire body shiver and stay quiet. "Don't make me repeat myself, he's not guilty." That sentence was spoken with such a determined yet casual tone but it had turned the entire room quieter than it ever was. Velios sat with his back resting on the sofa with one hand on his face. It looked like Velios was looking down on him as if he was some random bug or insect to him. In Velios' eyes, you could only see different emotions. Disgust, anger and frustration. The pressure from Velios alone, without any skills was enough to scare the complete shit out of him. He couldn't even think while it was happening. "O-On second thought, I can think it through and consider it. C-Cherryl, c-could you and Yotsuya walk out while me an the young man talk it through, please." The door was promptly shut behind Cherryl and Yotsuya. "L-Listen, I know that we did not start on good terms, but, we need your help."
