Velios' smile instantly faded as he realised what he did. In the corner of his eye, he saw a figure he had seen many times before, moving just behind Artemisia, trying to catch her. But Velios punched with far too much force. The figure grabbed onto Artemisia from behind, trying to reduce the damage as much as possible. No matter what the figure tried, they couldn't stop the force of it as they hurdled into the wall which was over a kilometer away. Velios just simply starred through the wall he had made in the knights' quarters wall, looking forwards at the wall. He knew exactly who it was, but he was still wondering. What was he doing here? Velios looked forwards in worry, the different possibilities for the consequenses of his actions playing in his head but most importantly, he was worried that he had accidentaly killed her. Velios instantly teleported away, leaving every knight, including the other people watching, aswell as both Yotsuya and Arthur.
Velios arrived at the crack of the wall, two individuals sitting leaned against the wall at the ground. "Yo. Long time no see, Ragaja." Velios dropped down from the side of the wall, landing besides them. Velios didn't really know what to say or do in this moment. He had guessed that they were going to show up and look for him eventually. But he also knew that if Vadh could find him, arguably one of the worst individuals when it came to directional sense, then anyone out of the monsters could do it. Velios moved his arm forwards, the rest of his body standing upright and still. Holy magic surrounded the two of them, both Ragaja and Artemisia bathing in the light. "Looks like someone hasn't changed. You almost killed her." Ragaja laughed quietly for himself. He would have lied if he said that he didn't feel the impact. "I finally find you and what happens? I have to save someone's life from you. You fight way too hard."
Ragaja was laughing lightly. He didn't want it to be awkward between the two since from a very early stage, Ragaja looked up to Velios. He gave him a name, took care of him, made him stronger, trained him and more. Ragaja was also the most understanding of the members as to why Velios had abandoned them after destroying the whole city. After all, the reason the two of them met in the first place was because Ragaja was on a mission to destroy a human town. "Where are the others? Are they also here in the city?" Velios asked, having healed both of their wounds fully, although Artemisia still unconscious. "About that, for starters, we found Vadh's corpse in the site of the massive explosion. Shiva said he wanted to do some more training because he wanted to become stronger and... it seems like those two over there have been dying to see you."
Velios already knew who the two were. He had noticed them after the fight had basically come to an end, but for some reason, it felt a little bit more right to act like he didn't know it. The two behind him consisted of a little girl with the other being a more mature looking woman. Both of them stood there, after a few seconds both of them began slowly walking forwards as Velios hadn't yet turned around. At last, the child began running towards Velios as he was still crouched down, talking to Ragaja. Suddenly, the small girl jumped towards Velios, landing on his back but surprisingly, Velios' body didn't move at all. Velios felt the arms of the little girl wrap around his neck, urging him to give her attention. "You meanie...! ...We missed you so much!" The little girl shed a few tears as she wiped them away, hugging Velios tighter than before. "I'm sorry, Ajagar. But I promise, I will never leave you or any of the others again."
As Ajagar was hanging on Velios back, she tried pulling him only to notice that it wasn't possible. For some reason, he was way heavier now. "You're heavy!" She blurted out, not caring about what she said in an irritated voice, yet also casual. "I know, I know." Velios responded casually, but trying to make his voice sound warm and caring. "V-Velios..." The woman's voice could be heard speaking from a few meters away. It was clear that there was some reason as to why she couldn't move closer, but she wasn't sure herself why either. Velios stood up slowly, his legs slightly twitching under him as the adrenaline from fighting was slowly wearing off. "Uhmm... Uh- Uhmm..." She couldn't figure out what to say as she began speaking. It was like all of the words she had prepared, everything on her mind had just disappeared. All at once.
Velios had seen this many times before. It was not uncommon for the others to speak in this way too, although it wasn't the best option. All it really ever had done was show a lack of confidence, that someone's bad with words, their incompetence. But, despite that, Velios was fine with it. For the first time in his life, he didn't have to worry about someone because of such a small mistake because now, it was nothing more than a silly little mistake. Velios noticed her struggling, her embarrassment growing by the second. Out of nowhere, Velios appeared in front of her. He didn't do anything in particular, but he made one thing clear, clear enough so that Freya would understand his intention. "Why did you leave us...?" Freya spoke in a quiet voice, pressing herself on Velios, hugging him with her hands around his neck. "I missed you..." Freya continued speaking truthfully, hugging Velios tighter but also noticing how heavy he currently was, although she didn't plan on mentioning it.
Velios looked forwards while listening to them speak before he caught Ragaja holding in his laughter. Ragaja's cheeks looked bloated and it looked like he was on the verge of laughing, covering his mouth with his hands. Not only did Velios look super unnatural while being hugged but he didn't know what face to make either, but somehow Ajagar had also managed to get stuck in the hug, Freya's arms unconsciously holding her in place while she despirately tried to escape from her grip but to no avail. Velios couldn't allow himself to show his irritation at Ragaja over something so small as just holding in his laughter. Velios hands weren't even wrapped around her, but they were instead just hanging. Velios was thinking about maybe ripping out an arm of his but Velios decided against it, for now.
Although most of them were happy to see Velios, he had no choice but to teleport them away as soon as he realised that the knights were coming close enough to see them. Velios managed a quick "bye" before he teleported them away, far enough that they wouldn't be noticed but close enough were they could still see the city. He heard the knights move, but the first to arrive was Yotsuya who was hundreds of meters ahead of the others. As soon as Yotsuya arrived, he found Velios crouching down, looking at her unconscious body leaning against the wall. Yotsuya couldn't even get a word in before Velios began speaking, as if he already knew that Yotsuya was the person that had arrived. "Don't worry, she's only unconscious and I've healed all of her wounds." Velios stood up, his body moving slowly due to the weight still on his body.
"Sorry, Yotsuya, but could you back me up on this one? I'll leave her in the knights' quarter and try to make it seem that all of this was because I fought dirty. Seems like she prides herself too much, or rather, wants to keep appearances up. Just explain to the rest of the knights that she wasn't hurt at all." Yotsuya remained quiet while listening to him speak. He simply stood there, admiring him in some way. "I see you're the same as ever. But I'm glad... So what should I tell them when they get here? What's your plan?" Velios picked up her body and hung it over his shoulder before turning around. "Just say that I used all of my magic and dirtly used it to win, knowing that she wasn't using any at all. I think they'll be upset enough to leave that explanation as it is. If they don't... just improvise, yeah." Velios left the scene, having instantly teleported away, leaving Yotsuya even more confused than he was before.
Velios returned where the fight had started, not a single one of the knights who had been watching the fight remained. But that only went for the knights. There was a single man standing there, one which face Velios didn't recognize. "I see... Guess I was right after all. You're him
