DESPAIR

It was a full moon night. One can hear the stridulatory sounds made by the fishes in the distant sea surrounding the island with the atmosphere stained with the stench of blood

"I can't..I can't believe it...Oda is...Oda is...it's my fault...it's my fault...Why...Oda is...Dead?!" Yami Soliloquize as he rot in despair. His mother can only watch from a distance as her son folds himself crying and engulfed in despair where her attempts for consolation failed.

Nothing was done that night as the Night crawlers ruled through.

"I'm sorry Yami, I just couldn't bring myself to watch you die. No...I can't let you die.. it's my.. it's my fault, Oda...is dead..and I'll never forgive myself.. But I don't regret my actions Yami... as your mother.. I don't regret my actions...I'm sorry Yami, I'm so sorry" This words flowing out of Hina's mouth, with tears falling from her eyes as she leans towards Yami who folded himself as he wroth in agony.. The atmosphere that reigned in the household that night was pure and Raging Despair..

It was Morning and a commotion was heard in front of Jigoro's Household. Rushing to find out what was going on Jigoro opened the door and standing there was a crowd of the island inhabitants with Oda's mom at the centre of it. Without knowledge Jigoro already Understood the situation and called for Hina who rushed down along with Yami..

"Why, Hina?!...Why did you let Oda get eaten?!...Why my Oda?..I saw everything yesterday night...How you pushed my son to death to let your son live.... WHYYYY!!!, YOU WITCHHH!!!!. WHY DID YOU KILL MY ODA?!!!" Oda's mom screamed at Hina with Anger, The crowd joined voices in proposal to Oda's mom.

Compared to Hina, Oda's mom was well known and respected due to the fact that her husband was a warrior of the village and after his death, she took care of Oda by herself.

"As a fellow Mother, I'm sure you know the answer to your question.. I'm really sorry for what I did, Aika (Oda's mom), But I don't regret my action.. I know you can't forgive me so no matter what penalty you come up with, I'd take it" Hina answered with a calm tone.

The crowd was furious, with the atmosphere holding a lingering sense of anger and despair. Hina further added "I'm the one responsible for Oda's death so I'd very much like the punishment to go to me and me alone, please don't harm Yami" She pleaded to the crowd as tears fall down her eyes.

The situation was carried to the Chief of Aoga village to pass on Judgement to Hina, with Hina locked up in a cell awaiting her fate.
