When Marigold entered, she discovered that it was not a simple meeting, but rather the entire B.E. shareholders' assembly. The meeting room was densely packed with over a dozen major shareholders, creating an ambiance reminiscent of "The Last Supper."

Among them, besides the few familiar faces from the Bennett family, the only other person she recognized was Jenny's father, Mitchell Whitehouse. However, the present-day Mitchell seemed downtrodden, with lowered eyes and a dejected demeanor. It seemed that his shares had been diluted repeatedly, and perhaps in a few months, she would hardly see him at the shareholders' meeting anymore.

Led by Brian, she took her seat at the far end. Evans, as an outsider, was taken to another room to await further instructions. As she sat down, she could distinctly hear elderly shareholders whispering in awe.
