"Yes, Sir," the maid responded, giving a bow before backing away and leaving the room to carry out his orders.

The man then stepped away from Jedo, his voice carrying a mix of seriousness and warmth. "Well, have a safe trip, and I will be watching, of course, while I maintain the house and keep the district from getting too rowdy," he said, hinting at the responsibilities he would continue to shoulder in her absence.
